First of all, what is ur age ?If you are younger than 20s,then I guess your parents have the right.Second,do they love you so much either because u r the only child or best loved child?they may be over protective as they do not want to lose you maybe for a certain reason. They would also want to know who you are going out with as they would not want their daughter/son to mess around with people they do not like. They watch what you wear to prevent yourself from getting e.g:raped, molested, eyed at. But I guess the best solution is to be open and tell what you feel to your parents.I am a counselor and...a lot of daughters/sons went astray or wild due to lack of communication with their parents. when your parents don't know what you want, they would just ask you to follow their say as they thought you don't have your worn decision.

Not knowing how old you are, I cant really answer that ? honestly. If you are under 18, then I dont think there is any problem. Even if you have lived on your own. If you are 18 or older, then yes, I believe it is a bit protective, but my parents were the same way when I went back home for a while. Its just one of those 'you live under my roof, no matter how old you are you will obide by my rules' sort of things. Talk to them. If things dont get better, and you are old enough, move back out. Communication is the key.

Not knowing your age its hard to give an opinion. However, if you've been on your own, paying your own bills and been self sufficient I can see that it would be hard to make an adjustment under the best of circumstances. Parents have a hard time letting go of the controls sometimes. I suggest that you have a talk with them and remind them that you'd like to make this work but they need to lighten up a little and treat you as an adult. Sure you're going to make some mistakes along the way but they did too. It's called maturing. If your coming in at all hours of the night I can see where they might have some difficulty. Just be calm, reasonable and courteous in your words and actions and all should be well. As to the clothing issue unless you're going out in drag, lol, they should keep thier opinions to themselves and let you find your way in the world. If all else fails move out again. Parents that continue to support their children into adulthood sometimes feel that it gives them a right to continue in the parental control department. If thats your case, correct that situation and bolster your stance.

They are normal parents. Actually you are lucky as some parents just don't care. If you are not happy at home then get your own place again. But enjoy your parents being a bit protective, they will not always be around to do this.

They were your parents for many years. This involved protecting you as much as possible. It probably won't change. Your other choice is to go back on your own and maintain a close relationship with them.

You already know the answer to this one. Move out again. I don't know how old you are, but you are obviously old enough to stand on your own two feet, if you already lived on your own for a year.

be glad they care , they just want what's best for you & want to keep you out of harm & it's good they know who you are w/ & where you are , God forbid something
happens & they need to reach you right away .
Don't be so hard on them.
