wondering what we get with the points i mean y r we doing the Q&A thing for really are we that bored or just noisy wanting to know other peoples problems

for me its a way to help people. I love sharing info that i know from how to make something, to biblical knowledge, to even where to get thing that you may never have known before. some are kids asking questions that may help them in school. i know people show hate and anger and in some cases plain stupidity or dumb remarks. don't care about the points, just how i can help others. i have lived all over the world and there isn't a whole lot of people around me I can share stuff with that don't already know. so i am able to use this method to share my experiences. for instance, i witnessed a royal wedding, i have been at the Berlin wall, i have see true historical events for future kids to know. i am a part of that history. i know things about overseas that they don't even share in school. i have been hated for who i am, hated for what i am and hated just because i am different. i have been around people of many races, cultures and beliefs and around traditions not shared in books. this site allows that to be shared and that's why i love this site.

First of all it's nosy not noisy. (my mom was an English teacher, sorry ,pet peeve)
But to answer your question, some people answer because they actually like to help others understand things.
The points aren't there for any rewards, they're there as a system to help others see how helpfull the person answering is. Unfortunately, some are points freaks and aren't really helpfull. So they're high scores are misleading like a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Ps. "Why do we care about other people's problems?"
BECAUSE WE SHOULD!! We live in a morally defunct society that only cares about themselves and they're own problems and won't help anyone, but when they ask for help they get upset if they don't get it!?

I'm that bored, it amuses me to see how poorly educated many people are, or just how twisted they are and as for the points I have no idea what they do for us.

if you notice you only answer the the ones that you went threw or your going threw.no we are not bored we just want to help people how we will want them to help us if they could.we could use a Little advice.

Because we can display "Snappy answers to stupid questions", and sometimes actually help one another. Imagine that, people cooperating with each other.
