its been cured of chronic meninchocal ham disease, its a popular disease amongst dodgy hams, in fact, i suspect that the ham wasnt ham in the first place, it was more likely to have been chicken. some chickens believe they are magic and practise spells regularly. it has been said that these spells turn the chickens into ham, therefor causing this nasty disease in the early stages of transformation.
you should be pleased that you have not yet had the privalage or misfortune of witnessing this this terrible phenomenon,,,,,,, i have and now,,, well now i live in a hospice with nice white walls and fluffy soft carpet, its a bit boring, but they gave me this nice new jacket to wear.
hope this helps . x

"Curing" is a form of preserving food, like salting, smoking, pickling or "corning" (making salt pork with coarse grain salt).
It's a turn of phrase, like asking what crimes reformed scampi was guilty of, and what sort of rehabilitation scheme was used to reform it.
