If you've heard it so many times, could it be that that is what it really feels like? Duhhhhh. It is a pointy object going in and out of your skin at a high rate of speed. It stings, it burns, you can feel the tapping on your bones. It hurts, but not bad. It's more annoying, than painful. If you want to simulate the pain, take a clean hypodermic needle, place it against your chosen spot, then take something like a small hammer, and tap on it pretty hard. Move it around, scrape up your skin until it turns hot pink and starts bleeding. Voila!

The best way I can describe it is (I have 4 tattoos on different areas of my body) is like having a needle or stick pin drug across the skin. Not so painful that you can't handle it, but I won't lie to you. It hurts.

I have a couple of tattoos and when I got them done I just asked the artist when the pain got a little to bad to stop for a min. If you do that than you can relax for a few Min's b4 he or she starts again and it helps. When they are doing it for some reason I tense up maybe that's just me but i do so if he stops for a min and I relax I sit there and loosen up for a bit and it doesn't hurt as bad. I have one on my ankle, lower back and right shoulder what are you thinking of getting?

Take a needle and poke yourself as fast as you can. It really does not hurt that much. The noise is more annoying than anything

ride a bike try then falling oiff when going fairly quick and let your face hit the floor thats what a face tatoo feels like

Don't get no tattoo, your chances of getting Hepatitis C is over 80% no matter how sanitary the tattoo parlor and people tell you.
