The word toeyvah is the first syllables of three Hebrew words added together. The words literally translate as "you have been fooled". What are those three Hebrew words, (in transliteration please).

Sorry, the word "Toe'vah" (תועבה) comes from the root "t.'.b" (תעב) that means "to despise" or "to abhor", and it is not a shortening for anything.

Maybe this is a later homiletic interpretation of this name, but the original word stands by its own.
