i need to gain weight sand have been told ensure works? anyone tried it

Ensure will help you to gain weight, but you must continue to eat a balanced diet also. They are a suppliment, not a meal replacement. If you are gaining weight for medical reasons, ask your gp for a prescription for them cos they are expensive otherwise. If not, you can buy them from pharmacies or online at www.ensure.com However, this is an american website so they may not post to other countires, you will have to contact them.
Beware!!! Some of the flavours are ok, but some are particularly minging. Get a mixed selection and see which ones you actually like.

You might be able to get ensure drinks from the chemist but don't know if you need a prescription for them. Your doctor can prescribe them for you if they think you need to put the weight on. A friend of mine has been prescribed them because she needs to gain weight. I haven't tried them but work in a hospital where we give them to some of the patients and they do work. I think they are just full of loads of extra vitamins and minerals etc that you need to put the weight on healthily. Hope this helps x

Here in Canada you can get Ensure at any grocery store or drug store. They are very costly but they do work well with a balanced diet.
They are also used in nursing homes as a supplement for people who have stopped eating or are very picky.

Yes Ensure works very well. You can buy it at most drug stores and supermarkets. Also, you can order it at www.ensure.com I would recommend you also stop at a GNC store they have weight gainer drinks there too that you can make in your blender mixed with milk or water. Best of luck.

ensure is absolutely minging. it does work, but you need to get it on prescription. it is usually given to ppl who have eating disorders and the elderly.
