no there is nothing wrong in stopping to eat meat

only, you must remember that meat provides PROTEIN and you must substitute something in your diet that will provide you proteins

cheese, pulses, seeds, soya are very rich in pulses and there are many ways in which you can be perfectly healthy and get your daily protein intake without eating meat

www.goveg.com will provide some more info

do your research, eat healthy....

It is NOT bad for your body. There are a lot of people who don't eat meat, like vegetarians etc...
You will need to eat protein though, as you would have been getting it from your meat and you have stopped eating it, so try nuts, eggs, vegetables and fruit.
You won't need to take any vitamins unless you have been prescribed to and told that you are lacking in some vitamin or another.

See this site below for why it is good for you. It tells (with link) how the American Heart Assoc. says not to eat more than 6 ounces daily of meat, fish or poultry. They do not say that you need to eat any. Then click on vegetarian concerns to tell about how you need B-12 and omega-3 fatty acids. I created this site and have been a vegetarian since before you were born. I have been a vegetarian for 30 years now.

before you stop eating anything read up on the information for vitimin levels etc that this product contains then concider giving up , than find out what pulses and lentils etc will provide you with what you have omitted from youre diet never ever just give up without reserching it first you may do more harm than good to your body . in a recent report vitimin suppliments have been found to be of no earthly good to man nor beast or of no benifit .the only thing your in actual fact doing by not eatign meat is detoxing your body of what you extract from the meats.

Just make sure you are getting enough iron and protein. Eating some type of legume(beans, peas lentils, etc) with a grain will give you your complete protein. Eat foods like bean burritos, peanut butter sandwiches or succotash. These combine legumes with grain. There are others but I just can't think of them. I'm not sure about the iron, though. Personally, I won't give up meat, but it's your choice. At least you won't have to worry about mad cow disease or eating too much cholesterol.

You will need to replace the proteins from the meat with others so eat Nuts, Lentils etc Oh you can also use Quorn (is similar to soya) which is great!
look on the web for Vegetarian nutrition. The web sites will have info what you need to replace lost protein.

No, it's not bad for your body. In fact, it's very good for you. Just make sure you're getting enough protein, like from eggs, soya, dairy products, or meat replacements, like Quorn.

You won't need to take vitamin supplements if you're eating enough fresh fruit and vegetables. Unless, of course, you want to.

Here's a suggestion re: how to look at this subject.

Avoidance of "four-legged" aka red meat, in favor of "two-legged" protein and fish, will gain substantial health benefits: lower blood lipids and diminished cumulative cardiovascular damage, meaning over the long run, you'll be in comparatively better health.

Vegetarianism or veganism is to be shunned, due to limited additional benefits whehn compared to the above guideline, and the excessive difficulties in managing such a strict regime.

You'll be glad you did !

You should be ok if you're eating a balanced diet. If for some reason that's not possible at the moment, you might want to get an iron and vit b12 supplement, particularly if you're feeling abnormally tired. Your doctor/pharmacist/local health food shop should be able to tell you more.
