The Passing
Solemn thoughts find no resolve from a persecuted soul.
Twisting and bending the thread of my conscious mind just to understand the concept of mortality.
Lying and waiting to meet my guide.
Have I washed the dishes and fed the dog today.
Irrelevant questions that have no space and time in my final hour.
Empathy not sympathy is what I need.
Answers to these questions that make my being heavy.
Save your tears for we shall meet again in the orchard of perpetual life.
Grant me my final wish that I may still be connected in some higher conscious to the ones I love so much.
At length we meet again.
Of no familiar form, yet I have always loved you.
Take my hand and lead me in to a world without pain and suffering or disease.
I feel feather-light now.
Unchained from the shackles of my malady.
Stripped of the burden of humanity.
Swiftly becoming a distant dream that has now no relevance in my collective energy.
Time will heal your pain.
And I shall fill your heart with love.
Fear not for we shall unify our warmth.
And life will go on.

Chilled me to the bone. Very intense and has deep seated meaning that bends toward death and dying. This I have no wish to deal with as I've had enough of it for the time being. Your writing is prophetic and dark. It takes a form of intense sadness and I hope it is just poetry as poetry goes. Not with meaning of loss for you, those you love, or those who love you........

You know it amazing me how many people log on to post a question and then NEVER ASK A QUESTION!!!!! but they think that by putting a ??? at the end of a sentence it magically becomes a question. There should be 3 sections on Yahoo.. Questions, Answers and I just want to make a statment...

alot of emotion in that...
it seems to be about a lost loved one, forgive me if i'm wrong.
i like it alot!
i like writing poems myself...
not that i'm trying to top yours or anything, just wanted to share mine too... just a short one i write recently about fame,
Maybe one day i'll be famous, and see all there is to see,
Maybe i'll have loads of money, to spend so pointlessly.
Like a tornado ripping up houses, i reckon i'm skyward bound,
To fly to the top, not even to stop, to take a look back at the ground.
I may be slightly naive, when it comes to my lifelong dream,
but to give up now, before it's begun would be failure or so it would seem.
I'm not one to try and be vain, au contrair, i'm quite modest,
But I know i deserve to be famous, and sit upon that "A-list".
Yes, maybe I am being foolish, and maybe I'll never succeed,
But at least i'm trying to do it, and not just because of the greed;
Because maybe we all are for something, destiny has a funny design,
Be it peace, war or corruption, just leave fame, because that one is mine

Why not register the poem at http://www.poetry.com, who knows? you may win an award. It would bring out the talent in you cuz you've got immense talent so ride on, my brother.
