I used to think it was because when the trend started there were no other colours, now i think maybe its something to do with the diffuilcuty of making normal coloured dye stick to grey/white hair? I'm so curious.....

They don't dye their hair blue on purpose. They use a product called "blueing" on it in order to take the yellow out of their grey hair. Normally it should just correct the color and turn their hair a bright, clear grey, but they put too much on and their hair turns blue instead. I don't think most of them even realize that their hair is blue.

they are not dying their hair blue, its just comes out that way... as you get gray hair that means that u lose natural hair pigment color...so when u dye ur hair it black it turns blue because u dont have any natural hair pigment to keep it looking black.
