its said that a person's height is largely dependent on genes, but i know many ppl are much taller than their parents. so, if they can grow taller than their parents, why cant their next generation grow taller than them? but then it seems like theres no maximum height limit for humans of the future.

It is possible because, nowadays we are improving our living day by day therefore both longitivity & built of humans could once again increase. The hind mythology states that there were people who were 10 foot tall & many lived for more than 100 years and all this has slowly reduced due to increase of population and pollution of the environment which is now getting bettered day by day due to technology.

Can hardly wait. Our average height is dictated by the gravitational pull of our planet and there are so many factors involved to be able to tell with any degree of certainty.

I seriously doubt that. If anything, a man's height will decrease in the future. Why?, simple, it is called the laws of thermodynamics. This world is definitely degenerating.
