NO ......it does not affect our faith....

but it does help in worshiping the GOD...by concentrating and thus meditating...and if we are able to offer this music to God it is definitely helpful...

As mentioned, in Hinduism music plays a great role for worship so much so that origin of music is linked to the Gods.

It can be. The bible says that, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God." - Romans 10:17. Therefore, if faith comes by hearing then what you hear you will begin to have faith in. Kind of like what you parents taught you your whole life you believe and have faith in those words. So if music or a song is singing about stuff that does not align with the word of God it can influence our faith to God. Remember it can, doesnt necesarrily mean it will. I had a big struggle with giving up my old punk cd's and everything i used to listen because I liked the way it sounded but it didnt have goods words. I began to listen to positive music. You really have to be careful about what you hear. Like people talking negatively about someone. I have heard several christian radio stations talk not so christ like. It almost makes you begin to think what they were saying. Listen only to stuff that lines up with the word of God.

Yes art including music and puppet show or film can be used as a tool for strengthening faith to God and in spreading out the religion teaching to its followers or will be followers.

I find that worship and/or hymns that I sang on Sunday stay with me throughout the week. They provide peace and joy for me, and an opportunity for worship to Him outside of a Sunday service.

Not nearly as big an influence as lack of independent thought process or the inability to understand the world around you.

I believe it depends. It definitely is for musicians (provided they are believers) since it is their way to worship. Also, I think that God speaks to many people through music.

actually it is... you dont know but music opens the mind to a trance like, readily programable state... that doesnt surprise me that church services everywhere start with praise and worship. it gets people ready for programming.
