When ever someone gets a bf/gf. People the like always come out and tell them that they like them and the should go with them instead.

Because people like stealing other peoples things. And if they do manage to steal, it boosts their ego.
They can't stand to see you happy with someone else and automatically think they can make you happier.
They forget about 'early bird gets the worm'.

Those sort of people are the kind that dont really want you for themselves but would rather not see you happy - not nice!

cuz they go "oh, she's with him, there must be something special about him" whether it's that you're a good b.f. or good at sex. chris rock has a great bit about this.
