According to the Bible, no man knows the day nor the hour when the Son of man is coming. It sure has lots of the signs of the "Last Days", but Jesus will come as a thief in the night. We need to always be ready so that when that time does come, we will be ready.

Yes we are. Absolutely. You can see by the answers how many people are not ready. This in no way will make it not happen. Bummer.
When? There is a answer. Yes.
The answer is going to take you a while to read and find. If you do it yourself. or, you can do like everyone else, and just merely read something and go for it. They ONLY know what they read. I see quite a few has read a lot of smoke.
Keep your eyes open 2012. If for no other reason, you might be walking and step off a curb.
Good Q*.
2006 dangerous? Every year from now until 2006 will be very dangerous. Not of rapture. Several things will happen between now and then.
BTW: Lets see how dangerous things get April 2007.
That will not be rapture. No. You might hope rapture WILL happen, before it's over.

Every church says we are already in them, they just differ on whether it means Christ is already here or not.
They all agree that the signs of the last days and the second coming or presence of Christ began with WWI. The word translates as presence or present, but in cases where it refers to Christ, Bible versions change it to second coming. It remains properly translated in any other references.
Are we close to the fulfillment of the sings of the second presence of Christ? Yes. He said that the generation living at that time would not pass away until all the signs were fulfilled.
That generation is currently is fast approaching 100 years old. They are the first generation, as a whole, had a longer life span than 46 years, in more than 1000 years. They survived the Spanish flu, which specifically targeted the young and healthy. More than half of those that died in WWI died on the ships in route to Europe. But, now they are dying out fast.
As to whether the signs means Christ is coming, or has already been where since 1914, consider the Ancient Jews. "MOST" Jews did not believe he was the Messiah, despite the fulfillment of prophesies, because they were not all taken up in the Rapture, followed by all non-Jews being destroyed by Armageddon. Thankfully, there was a few Jews who did believe he was the Christ and the Armageddon was still a ways off.
That is the exact same reason "MOST" Christians (otherwise known as new Israelites) believe that Christ has not yet returned and sat on his Father's Throne. So, are the new Israelites right in believing that the signs are not of his second presence? And if not, does that mean the original Jews were also right not to believe Jesus was Christ? It is something to think about. Are you a part of the great many, like the Jews of old, or like the few?

Although the bible did not point to a particular year as going to be a dangerous year but from all indications and from the records in the bible we are very very close to the last days. Events happening around us are direct pointer to this fact (Matthew Chapter 24)

If the architects of the Bible were to state the day of Judgement Day
in terms of a specific date, then their institution would go into Liquidation on that day as there would be no Judgement Day on that day.
Remember all business institutions legal or illegal have an indefinite life until they are not replaced by the new Mafia Bosses.
See the Muslim Thugs control majority of Asia and Christian thugs control the west.

Most people choose to ignore the the fact that the world is coming to a end as we know it to be. We don't claim to know when it will happen but I can say that we are already in the end days according to the gospel. It is closer than we think and it is later than it has ever been. Even at the doors! Just remember the days of Noah and how it was then compared to now!

From fulfillment of prophecies found at Matthew Chpt. 24,Luke Chpt. 21 Mark Chpt. 13 2Tim.3:1-6, we are clearly living IN the last days.Combined with the prophecy in the book of Daniel Chpt.2 regarding the immense image we are probably at the toes of that image and very soon Jehovah is going to bring about destruction on this wicked system of things
There are about two prophecies which still are to be fulfilled - the end of this system is very very close.

We're not. There aren't going to be any Biblical "Last Days".
There have always been disasters, wars, and everything else the believers point to as "signs". There will be such things happening off and on for a very, very long time. I just don't understand why every generation seems to be convinced that THEY are the last one. It's incredibly myopic and ego-centric.

Yes, we are living in the last days.
The Coming of Jesus is very ,very close.
May the good God give every body the necessary grace to sanctify and prepare themselves.
I don't know about the year 2006,
God alone knows.

A "dangerous" year?
Don't know whether 2006 will be the year of Christ's return for His church, or not. Even if it is, how would that be "dangerous" for the Church? (Perhaps dangerous for those who aren't ready.)
Titus 2:13 -- Looking for that Blessed Hope, even the Glorious Appearing of our Great God AND Saviour Jesus Christ.
