This is a suggestion and not a joke. Take and shave all the hair off and let it grow back. It seems to work and thicken the hair in children. Now, let me explain, I live in a small community and we have allot of Russian Families that have moved in here over the last 10 yrs.. They routinely shave all the hair off their very young children between the ages of 2 to 3 yrs. old. If it comes back still a little fine in hair quality then they will shave the head again. The hair seems to grow back a little thicker. This is done at such a young age because the children are at home and not seen out in the publics eye. They have done this for about a 1000 yrs. now. From my experience from being around these nice people since they came here it seems to work and this is from watching the children growing up. Anyway, it is something you might consider if you can't find any other successful methods. But it should done while they are still very young. As the children grow older they forget all about it. I hope this helps.. Good Luck

Best is try using an ayurvedic oil rather than goin in for some other medicines. It really works out because when I was a small baby I too had the same problem my granny suggested about a particular oil.Im sorry I dont remember the name but it was an Ayurvedic oil....

Take a teaspoon each of almond oil and olive oil and a pinch of turmeric powder. Mix these thoroughly and store it in a container made of glass for 24 hours. After this apply 5 drops of this oil on the scalp slowly and softly in a clockwise manner using the middle two fingers of your righthand. Please do this in the evening and let the child sleep with the oil on the head. You can wash it in the morning. Please do this for 15 days. You will find the density of hair growing.
