it should be like smoking and drinking a total ban on advertisment.

Junk food is poison, and is responsible for the high rise in diabetes and other diseases. No-one in their right mind would consider a diet of junk food.
Eating plenty of fruit and vegetables is the best way for kids, and for their parents too.
The food giants no longer even bother to try to convince you about the food, they try to sell you fun, with food as a byline. They know that their food is poisonous, and they don't care. They work hand in hand with the health business, taking your money to make you unhealthy, and then taking more in an attempt to get you healthy again, so that you can eat more junk.
I think junk food is worse than cigarettes, and I think the advertising should be handled in the same way

Nobody will stop children from eating junk food, let alone trying to convert them to eating more healthy food, Yes healthy food is the best for our children, but how many children keep their school dinner money and nip out to mcd's or burger king for their school lunch without us parents knowing, so personally I really don't think it will make a difference of having a watershed on junk food or not

I think parents should introduce the 'idea' of junk food to their children at an early age - whilst feeding them good fresh food which is cheaper anyway. By the time they go to school this constant indoctrination will make them heave when seeing junk food adverts on TV. Trouble is I used to be against dishwashers until I had one - now it would be the last thing to leave the house!

i think of merchandising is a nightmare while it includes little ones, yet what's extra important is how the mother and dad handle it. My little ones see commercials and to be truthful, they have never asked for something they have seen on television. As for junk foodstuff v wholesome foodstuff, each and every be sure needs their newborn to have an entire and satisfied existence and this could in basic terms be finished if the mother and dad enable little ones to have junk foodstuff carefully.

If they dont see it on TV, they will see it on billboards and in magazines. You cant blinker kids and shelter them from the real world. Parents should give their kids healthy food and let them have a treat now and again, a TV ad will make no difference.

I dont think they need to advertise it at all,I mean us adults go shopping & we see whats on offer its our choice to buy..I have 3 sons & feed them proper home cooked food, you wont ever catch me in the freezer isle.from day one when they started eating I made food for them, now my kids eat very heathly I cant understand parents who say their kids just wont eat what they give them, the parents are in control,I've lost count of the times I have seen people in the baby isle buying 40 jars of baby food..utter laziness..it is much easier & better to make up food at home & freeze it.if you give your kids proper home made food from day one they will eat it,its what they are allowed to get used too, give in & let them eat rubbish & thats it for life.I saw a thing on the news one parent let their child eat 12 bags of crisps a day,4 for breakfast!! jamie oliver has got it right,he saw someone bottle feeding their baby coke..how dumb can you get!!!
