Do they HAVE the intelligence? Sure. It's not a matter of being brilliant or stupid or somewhere in between; it's the fact that they don't WANT to know it. If there was a scientific theory that verified that everything in the Bible was correct, they'd be all for it, totally willing to study it and everything. But evolutionary theory goes against most of what's in that book, so they stay away from it.

Evolution requires the suspension of reason, not the application of intelligence. Intelligent investigation establishes that

1) The assumed evolutionary tree is incomplete,
2) There is no evidence regarding major changes in chromosome count along the evolutionary path
3) There is no correlation of blood chemistry between supposedly related creatures (e.g., the King Crab has blood based on copper, not iron).
4) It does not explain symbiotic relationships, for instance, between orchids and humming birds/insects
5) Is prone to frequent revision as new evidence overturns "established fact"
6) Requires major assumptions with regard to radio-isotope dating techniques
7) Is not a currently observed phenomena. Purported evolutionary evidence (influenza, MRSA) is the result of non-evolutionary processes.
8) No newly developed species have been found.
9) No "experimental" evolutionary changes have been observed
10) There is no explanation concerning how plants colouration, form etc., have evolved when they do not have the senses to establish or select colour. For instance, some plants have ultra violet colouration that is visible to bees.
11) Requires the existence of "exotic" mechanisms to pass on changes to succeeding generations that are not observable or measurable.
12) Has yet to provide evidence that is beyond dispute.
13) Even if all the above were answerable, even if evolution were established as a fact, it would still indicate a guiding intelligence. In other words, it would still be evidence for God.

Believe in evolution? Pigs might fly!!

I'm a creationist and yes, I can understand science and evolution for what it is. I accept quite freely most sciences- I can see magnesium reacting with acid, the stars and constellations, and the flower turning to seed. What I cannot accept is how a complex and intelligent being 'appeared' from nothing according to the Big Bang Theorists.
There are many holes in the theory (if you email me, I will explain more) and Darwin himself was very much unconvinced by his own theory, remaining apologetic in The Origin Of Species.
But I am impressed and proud that people have so much faith in this theory, one which surpasses many religious devotions.
But can you truly divide it like that- ignoramuses believe in Creation, intelligent people in evolution. If people want to believe Creation, then that is their and mine choice.

Although it's no doubt true that the less intelligent someone is, the more likely (s)he is to believe something without proof, this doesn't mean that believing in Noah's Ark is a proof of lack of intelligence.

I believe there was a Noah's Ark, it was probably a generations old story about a local flood that destroyed an entire tribe. It did destroy an entire world for those that survived it, just because the story is embellished doesn't take away from the spiritual truths behind it.

Well if I believed in evolution during Noah's Ark........Then why did he have to have such a big boat
I mean hey.......if they where all small fish or microscopic things then why bother building what God wanted build and just let them float in the sea and when the water receded then life started
right..........Wrong

Only a closed minded person who is a step or two back on the evolutionary path would confuse evolution with religious beliefs. The ark is a metaphoric bible passage.

It's not a matter of intelligence, they're raised in this safe womb-like environment where everything they are taught becomes a part of their sense of security. Then when they are faced with something different than what it is that they believe, they feel their world is being threatened and they resist it. It's a natural reaction.

There are 10 to the 30th power kinds of life on this world.
That's a 10 with 30 zeros behind it.
Only humans have intelligence, (I think).
Intelligence DICTATES, that intelligence didn't evolve from
a puddle of SLIME!
But I'll make an exceprtion in you case.

Is it true evolutionists just like FRIGGING monkeys?
