it's up to you, but I like to be a bar manager, more easier than bartender.

Id bartend, management gets treated like crap!
Plus you have to wait for the paycheck, bartending you have all that money at the end of the night plus the paycheck, unless it goes to child support like mine :)

what is your passion. being in the zone and having a good time or being in the financial zone and well!!!!!!!! do what gets you to be most passionate about your job. you can be a glassy and still have a double delightful day than your gm.

How's your quality of life? Can you take the pay cut? Can you do bar shifts to supplement your income? You already know the answers you just need to admit it.

If you're looking to build your resumee then go for the management...but if you're only in it for the money...stick to tending... its more fun anyway! and you dont have to deal with all the maagement politics!
