Right now I'm triying to read and ask as much as I can, however this doesnt make's me feel sad at all. The thing is, I guess Im not the only one who has begin this "your-own-true" trip, but i would like to know about others who has being through this period.

Oh sure. I have given up on religion, and decided to stick with spirituality. I don't believe in god as religious people do. I only know that there is something out there, some kind of power or force or something that is creative and seeks order. I am not sure if the order created is always something that we would consider to be good. I have a hard time feeling any kind of personal relationship with this creative force, as I am not sure it is even an entity. I do know though that there is more after this life, and I do believe that my identity will continue. I am not into "new age speak" or collective consciousness or any of that, although I have learned not to close my mind (well, I try not to) and I rule out nothing except a vengeful, punishing, etc. god. Prayer is difficult, and I do not force it. I feel like my head has been filled with so many different and contradictory things about god that I just want to hear no more from anyone about what they believe, and I want to be still and learn what I believe. One thing I believe is that those who have stopped questioning their own beliefs have stopped growing spiritually. Good luck, and whether you call it god or not, give faith a chance. Life is good.

No you are not the only one. It is all right not to believe in the Catholic Idea of God. Just as long as you believe in something greator than yourself your on good grounds yet.
Just rember that the first part of the bible are stories hnded down and put to memory before there was paper and pen or even writing. that is how knowledge and isdom was keep before then.
After that remember that so called civalization ws just staring with only small towns scatterd about. most of the peope wer either semi nomadic hearders or farmers and most of the bible deals in things from that prespective.until latter in the OLD TESTAMET when a Religion was in power.behind the ruler.
