MACARONI SALAD
1 lg. pkg. macaroni or 2 sm. pkg.
1 lg. bell pepper, shredded
1 med. onion, shredded
2 lg. carrots, shredded
2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
1 c. apple cider vinegar (brown)
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 tsp. pepper; optional
Cook macaroni with the salt added. Drain all water off, after it has cooked. Mix in large bowl: bell pepper, onion, carrots, salad dressing, vinegar, sugar, Eagle Brand milk, and pepper, if desired. Pour mixture into cooked macaroni, then refrigerate.

Mama’s Macaroni Salad
Prep Time: 15 minutes plus chilling time
Servings: 8 to 10 servings

What You'll Need
2 cups (500 mL) uncooked elbow macaroni
1 can (300 mL) Regular or Low Fat Eagle Brand®
1 cup (250 mL) lemon juice
1cup (250 mL) vegetable oil
1/4 cup (50 mL) prepared mustard
1 tbsp (15 mL) onion salt
1 tbsp (15 mL) celery seed
2 cups (500 mL) cooked ham, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 cup (250 mL) green pepper (1 medium), finely chopped (reserve some for garnish, if desired )
What's Next
1. Cook macaroni as package directs; drain and set aside.
2. Combine Eagle Brand, lemon juice, vegetable oil, mustard, salt and celery seed; mix well . Stir in remaining ingredients.
3. If desired, serve on lettuce leaves and garnish with reserved green pepper. Chill 3 hours to allow the flavours to blend and the macaroni to absorb more sauce.

1 tablespoon salt ( I use about 3/4 tbsp.)
3/4 pound cheese, diced ( I use shredded Velveeta)
1 bell pepper, chopped
4 carrots, grated
1/2 cup vinegar ( I use 1/4 cup)
2 cups mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Mix all ingredients together and chill. (I chill overnight)
