That is a tough question. In my area it is the Assemblies of God. I make sure of that. In other areas of the USA I know other denominations are far more active.
As far as world missions go it is by far the Assemblies of God, that is our main focus. Spreading the gospel to the world.
judy r8 says not one Christian church in the US is socially active, except the Salvation Army. I guess she does not consider homeless shelters, food give aways, 2 very large outreach crusades every year, fixing homes for free, mowing lawns free, helping with medical expenses, bills, and 8 recovery groups being socially active.

In Jehovah's Witnesses, all members, regardless of age, race, or sex, actively participate in all aspects of the church, including the ministry, public speaking, and the spread of God's Word. Young children are taught the Bible as a whole, right along side their parents. By age 12, they are ready to begin learning public speaking.
They are set up in cells. Ten to fifteen individuals participate in a weekly (usually on a Tuesday) Bible study, led by an elder. They usually live close to each other, and can be of ages from new borns to centurions.
Ten to fifteen of these groups make up a congregation, which meets twice a week for the Ministry/Public Speaking Schools, usually on a Thursday. On Sunday, there is the talk, given by someone in the congregation, or from another, followed by a Bible study.
Ten to fifteen of these congregations meet twice a year for weekend circuit assemblies. This allows everyone in the region to get to know everyone else. The talks are given by ones, young and old, picked from the congregations in the circuit.
Ten to fifteen of these circuits meet once a year, for weekend assemblies, for much the same reason they meet for the circuit assemblies.
In this manner, everyone knows everyone, which came in handy during Katrina. No Jehovah's Witnesses were left behind. The elders made sure those in their study group were taken care of, the Congregation Overseer makes sure the elders were doing their jobs. The Circuit Overseer makes sure the Congregations Overseers are doing their jobs, and The District Overseer makes sure the Circuit Overseers are doing their jobs. None of these people get paid. There are over 250 district assemblies each year in the world.
Now, hows that for an organization that sees to the needs of all age groups, on the planet?

that is not what socially active means. and none of the American churches is actually socially active. not one does anything for another group of people outside their group.
no, i'm wrong the Salvation Army does. And I suspect they have more groups for every age and income level as well.

In Australia - the Sydney Catholic Chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are very progressive. These Jesuit nuns give out packs of condoms and lube to young gay sex workers in Kings Cross each Saturday night to prevent them catching HIV.

The mormons. There is something for every age, and there are events going on almost all days of the week for these various age groups Go to "lds.org" and you can find a meeting house at any location in the world. Check them out. I promise they aren't as weird as everyone says they are. It takes one to know one.
