take a look at these links and tell me this is ok, i am really saddened that these babies have to feel the pain just because of the mothers selfishness.
i don't believe abortion is right in any event not even for rape or because something is wrong with the baby, in both cases its not the childs fault yet they are the ones that have suffer the consequenses.
if something is wrong with the child then u are putting conditions on your love when a parents love is supposed t be unconditonal, i am speaking from experience on both cases, i have been there and done that and NOT aborting my babies was the best thing i could have done.

partial birth abortion is legal in way over half the states in the usa, and some of them babies were from 2nd and 3rd trimester
if we don't fight for the rights of the silenced then who will, u can't just go around saying u can't tell another woman what to do with her body, if u seen a friend trying to commit suicide are u going to stand on the sidelines and say well its not my body and i have no right to say anything, if u do , then u need some serious help. that is what u are doing when u say its a womans right to choose

judy_r8, i didnt' realize speaking the truth is offending, if its that offending then lets put a stop to it and end all abortions, i realize that won't stop it but if they want to go back and do it with a clothes hanger then let them face the risks they are imposing on themselves instead of making it a safe procedure

from a religious standpoint, God says He knew u before u were in the womb, so that means that u had a soul before u were conceived

Babies rights... Women's rights... Yet again, we all forget about the rights of the father... that's right, ALOT of us are men.
From a purely logical standpoint, if I father a child, and the child is born, then I am (and should be) legally/finacially responsible for the child...
BUT if I father a child and the mother has an abortion, then she has, in effect, KILLED my child, and I have no legal response to this act.
Let's leave it at this:
If I, as a man, get a woman pregnant, then I am legally a father and held responsible for the child.
But, if the woman terminates the pregnancy, with or without consent, then I have lost said child and there is nothing I or anyone can do.
It takes 2 to make a child, but only one to kill it....
Something to think about....

I personally would never have an abortion... I would be a bit more careful than to just get pregnant (I have more respect for myself than that) and then turn around to have an abortion as Birth Control. That is one of the issues of it I disagree with the most. BUT... you can not know ALL of the cases, you can not know the circumstances and you certainly can not know what those women are going thru. I know the Reality of abortion, I have seen it performed in many different ways.... This in no way changes my thoughts on this. I have known women who would have died AND the child would have died with her if they had remained pregnant... in one such case, the woman would have left 3 other children without ANY parents because she was abandoned by the father..... yet you think she should have just went thru with it, died, and left 3 more orphans on the street.
As I said, I do not agree with the general excuses given for abortion... but I certainly will not say that No One should do it, because I am NOT them.
And "Parents love is supposed to be unconditional"... Supposed to be and Is are two different things... THAT is Reality

I think up to about third trimester, it should definitely be their choice, its not really a person til at least that time anyway, in most cases, and if theres a question of it being "kept" or not, it'd definitely not be a person yet before that.
honestly if your not a vegetarian its hypocritical to complain in that way.... what about all the animals in the food that most people eat?
I do NOT belive that late term abortion should be allowed, unless the mother's life is at stake.
and why the hell if theres a question about it would you not be able to decide in the 6 months after conception? even if you don't know til like 4 months... why the hell would it take 2 months to decide? I mean its not THAT hard a decision.
one solution would be to simply get a gifted person to determine the current status of the fetus, and ideally, show that to the person.
but the problem is people gifted in that way, and with the ability to do so, are very scarce at the moment....
edit: to below, the rights of the father come *LAST* and I say that as a man myself. if you don't want to deal with that possible outcome, keep it in your pants, its THAT simple.
but, the man should be consulted. but ultimately should have no say. its the woman's body whos hijacked for 9 months, and whos changed permenantly, both physically and emotionally.
now thats not to say an abortion has no permenant emotional/physical side effects. it does. but its not to the man's body either.
bottom line it *MUST* be the woman's choice.
first trimester, pretty much at will. if you "get it" early enough there are non-medicinal teas that can invoke menstruation...
second, it should be discouraged, but an option.
the idea that anyone would even THINK of a man's rights to come before that of the mother is absolutely disgusting.

Yes, just as Adam had the right to choose Eve over everlasting life for all his descendants. And, just like Adam, there is a penalty to be paid for making that choice. Christians are not here to stop people from making poor choices, only to point out to them the benefits of making the right choices.
No, one may not like the lose of human life, especially a child, but consider how many died as a result of the choices made by their parents prior to the great flood, at Sodom and Gomorrah, and finally Armageddon.
You cannot do anything more than Jesus said for you to do, and he didn't say to participate in politics to force others to make the right choices. To do otherwise means you know better than him what is right.
God has clearly said that he intends to destroy all the nations of the world. That will include those who cannot bring themselves to turn away from the old world, just like Lot's Wife.

It's so easy, isn't it? To pass judgement on others, not having walked a mile in her shoes.
Yes, a woman's right to choose needs to stay legal. Because kiddies, it's been going on since the dawn of man. It's just that Roe v. Wade made it legal, made it possible for women to not have to seek back-alley butchers and end-up dead from infection or sterile. It made it legal and it made it safe, but believe me, it's always been possible.
And wouldn't it be great, to be able to pass this judgement as a man! Because, yes, you can be forced into financial servitude, but that is really about it. You see, it's not you on the table who could hemorrhage and bleed out. I know we want to believe that childbirth is always consequence free, but women do die. It's not you that leaks milk for months and cries for no reason like a crazy person.
You see, pregnancy is not easy. Childbirth is not easy. And being a parent day in day out is no piece of cake. Choosing to put a child up for adoption is not easy, no matter what the agencies tell you, they need to make money too. Terminating a pregnancy for any reason is not easy or pleasant. And none of these hard decisions, about your body, about your life, should be made for you by your government.
And men, I know some of you want to impose your rights to what is your. And if if that could happen by not having a baby carried in an unwilling woman's body, magically transported into yours, I'd have it so. But it can't. Your rights to father can't supercede the right I have over my own body.
I have a friend from college who had an abortion at 19. She spent a night with her roomate's brother. she was a small town girl in her first year of college. The condom broke. This was before we all knew about the morning after pill. She was agonized over the decision she made. But if she hadn't had an abortion, she would have been forever to a loser (and he was) in Oklahoma, instead of meeting the man of her dreams, having the career she always wanted and beautiful twin daughters.
The government can't sit around and determine well, was she raped? Was it incest? well, yes to that individual case, but NO! NO! to her over there.
Stop trolling the crazy hate sites- they make stuff up, including photos for you to buy their agendas.

Yes there is a woman right to choose a right path or the wrong path.
If she choose the wrong path that is making an abortion she will have a great sin and will be punished as criminal. But if she choose to let her baby grown up it means that she select the right path. The baby is always clean and has no sin.The sinner is his/her mother with or without his/her biological father..You are right that you do not believe that abortion is right in any event.

Sometimes if the condition of the childs life is going to be so bad then the parents act out of ,love to spare them that. From a religious perspective we believe the soul only enters after the first three months (thats not 100% accurate) so its permissible before that under certain conditions. I dont actually believe that it should just be a womens choice because the man has rights to his child also. its a very complex issue but if he is willing to give the child a good life then the child has the right to that. Unless it was rape or if the man poses as a threat to the child (abusive, etc.)

Hello!! :o) People OFTEN make the mistake of assuming that if something is LEGAL to MAN - then it is also approved of by GOD. But not being held accountable by MAN does not necessarily mean that you won't be held accountable by God. That said.... I'm against abortion UNLESS the woman would lose her own LIFE by NOT aborting. A woman has the right to defend herself against anyone - including the 'one' who is inside of her. Craig!! :o)

5 years back, i was disgusted with the fact wmn went for abortion. like what you've said, these pple have no right to end another person's life, morever its ur own baby who hasnt even seen the world yet. to me, they're no different from a murderer.
but all this is before i realised that my mum had a abortion before. it happened during the time when pple are still very conservative and having a baby before marrige is pratically unheard of. as my parents were not able to get marry right away (very long story), the only choice is to get an abortion.
Seeing how frail she is now, and her quiet sobbings every now and then as she moaned for her unborn child, it really break my heart.
i no longer felt disgusted by abortion, rather i feel sorry for them, adults and babies as everybody has their own story to tell and reasons for action. dont get me wrong, i still detest irresponsible pple for having unprotected sex which result in unwanted pregnancy but sometimes, and perharps its really for the child's own good.
=====================================
recently, i came across this case:
a couple in the mid-thirties had been trying for a baby for as long as they can remember. when they found out that the wife is finally pregnant, they were overjoyed. the excited parents started to shop for cute baby wear, toys... and had converted one of their room to a nursery. everything and anything to welcome the new life to the family.
the joyous parents were counting the days for the arrival of their baby till during one scan, the doc dropped them the bomb. their baby was heavily deformed. and it didnt helped that the mother was sick (i cant rem what she's down with). both mother and child's life could be in danger if she were to continue with her pregnancy.
the mother insisted that their baby should be given the chance to see the world despite the danger. the father had to make a choice. he chose to terminate the pregnancy.
you may think that its really selfish for the father to do that, but he has his reasons. he doesnt want his beloved wife to risk her life as both wife and child may not survive as the preganancy were to carry on. also, as the child is heavily deformed, it isnt fair to put him/her through the cruelty of being ridiculed and ostracised when he/she grew up. its a heartbreaking choice to make but he did it out of love.
needless to say, i cried buckets after i read this story. so you have to understand that no doubt abortion is cruel, sometimes, it is out of love that they have to do it.

Well first off, if a woman is raped and doesnt want a baby it is not her fault nad why should she have to go through the process when she is not ready. Sometimes you have to think about the person that is already alive!!!! Also in this country abortion after 3 months is illegal. So some of the babies you show are past that stage, you really need to see from all walks of life.
