In English you could use the word "palindrome" which is also Greek and means "both ways" from the words "palin" = "again" and "drome" = way, street.
In Greek we call it "cancer-read" from the words "cancer" which means "crab" (and a crab moves only sideways) and "read", the past tense of "read".

You can find the word you want in ILLUMINATI by Don Brown. Although I've read the book in Greek, the word is in there and I think it's mentioned like "ambigram" or something similar....

i think you mean it can be read from either end, or backwards and front wards. its called an anagram
