Well, I am a post graduate in Computer science, age 28 years. I am presently working in a private firm. Doing some testing jobs, and at some time doing some developments. I wish to switch on to a better option in the IT sector, which is more secure and which is having openings abroad... Can any one suggest me for a better option...

If you have programming skills then you should be set for life as programmers are always in demand. Try getting into a larger firm, you might find the kind of work you are doing is more what you want.

I think u must not get frustrated by this. The first thing you have to keep in mind is that you have to decide that what basically field y ou want i.e. Testing, Development, Support etc. and fully concentrate on that field and do the preparation for that sector only forget about what ur doing at your job. And i am sure u will succeed. U must have to find the opportunity and try to forward your resume to all the job sites.
I am suggesting you because I had already faced the same and decided to do the same and I am happy that I have succeeded. Any ways Be happy & Cool. Aleways have must to do attitude & u will succeed. Best of luck for ur future.

Post Graduate in Computer Science and doing testing job. rediculous. this proves the theory that people who just read books and get big certifications fail badly.
