Black walnut tincture can be helpful in clearing a pinworm infestation. This is a strong botanical, however, and not suitable for infants or small children. For a child age twelve or older, give three drops, three times daily, for no more than seven days.
Garlic is a natural antiparasitic. Give your child one to two capsules, twice daily, for two weeks. If your child is over one year old, you can give him one fresh clove mashed in honey instead, two to three times a day, for two to three weeks.
Wormwood (Artemisia) has antiparasitic properties that will help to clear a case of worms. Give your child one dose, twice daily, for up to one week.
Grapefruit seed extract is a strong antiparasitic. A highly concentrated form, such as Citricidal, Nutrabiotic, or Paramicrocidin, is preferred. For three to seven days, two or three times a day, dilute 5 to 10 drops in a glass of water or juice and have your child drink it. The flavor is very bitter, and your child may need a lot of encouragement to take it.

I have found some ideas online for you to look into. When I have had parasites, I have gone the medical route and just taken a couple of pills. Much easier, quicker, and less messy. On one of these sites, it explains another method that someone used to save money on the prescription. You can buy that pill at a veterinarian store, over the counter, I think (piperazine).

There are completely natural ways... garlic, ground flax seed, psyllium husk, black walnut, wormwood. These will flush them out of the intestines... but it will be a bit trickier to make sure the eggs that are attached to your child's anus don't hatch and go back in and spread again. So be sure that your child washes his/her hands every time he/she goes to the bathroom... also be sure to change his/her underwear daily, maybe even a couple of times a day (?).

You can get the stuff at your local store, just ask the pharmacist. I do believe it's called PinX and it's an over the counter thing, no prescription needed. But you do need to buy enough for your whole family to take, even if you don't have it!
