SPICY BROWN PINEAPPLE HAM GLAZE

1 jar (8 oz.) Gulden's Spicy brown mustard
2 cans (8 1/4 oz. each) Dole crushed pineapple in syrup, undrained
2/3 c. honey
1/2 tsp. ground ginger

Thoroughly combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Thirty minutes before ham is ready, score surface in diamond shapes; baste ham with glaze every 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 3 cups glaze. Covers 8 pound ham.

PINEAPPLE GLAZED HAM

1/2 inch thick slice of ham
3/4 c. orange juice
1/4 c. brown sugar
6 slices pineapple

Preheat skillet to 350 degrees. Place ham in skillet and cook for about 10 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet and keep hot. Pour orange juice into skillet and add brown sugar. Bring to a boil. Add 6 pineapple slices and glaze the fruit. Arrange fruit on top of ham and pour orange mixture over ham and serve at once.

PINEAPPLE GLAZE FOR HAM

1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Dash salt

Drain syrup from pineapple; set aside. Combine drained pineapple, brown sugar, mustards, lemon juice and salt in saucepan. Heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. Add as much reserved syrup as needed to make mixture of a good brushing consistency.

i use toothpick to stick the pineapple all over the ham then i stick a marichino cherry in all the holes and top with brown sugar

baste with the juices at bottom of pan

well this may be weird, but my grandmother poors a can of MGD ( yes the beer) over it...OMG! it is soo good too!
