that's odd, most kittens go to the litter box by instinct . . .

set it by where she normally pees, and make sure she can climb into it.

I recommend Worlds Greatest Cat Litter . . .made of corn

sometimes kittens eat the clay, which is bad for them . . .

It's pretty simple,(ignore the loser on answer 3) if your kitten is 6-8 weeks old, just put her in the box, just make sure the box is low enough for her to get in and out, my kitten is also persian, I did that and she started walking around the box, feeling the texture of the new ground she's in, so then she started digging in it and waited for me to leave so she can have her privacy and then started her business but after a while I found her burrying her stuff like crazy as if it was a construction zone so just do that and she'll get used to it, oh and sometimes she might show u potty signs such as trying to dig on the floor and staring you so just carry her to her box and she'll know where to go, just don't change it's place orelse you'll have to clean up after her,.my vet suggested to plant a little catnip along the edges of the litter box if she is being stuborn or scared about it
Goodluck with ur little fur ball
If u need any more help I suggest u go to citikitty.com

When you catch her peeing use a small spray bottle of water on her each time & she'll eventually quit peeing but make sure you put her in her litter box after you spray her,I had a kitten that had done the same thing & a friend had told me about it,This wom't hurt your kitten & she will relize what she's doing wrong,Good Luck this should work for you

She needs an older cat to tell her how. But if one is not available make sure you have a clean litter box for her and put her in it when she starts to pee elsewear. you can also try ,oving the litter box were she is peeing. Something else I have been told to try is putting tin foil down were she is peeing, they don't like the feel. MAke sure you are cleaning the area w/ a good cleaner, something like natures miracle. Some regular cleaners can have ammonia in it and it smells like the cat urine so they return, also many regular cleaners don't remove the proteins that cats use to "mark". If this doesn't help you may take her to the vet to make sure she doen't have a uti.

First make sure the litter box is clean. Then pick up kitty and plonk her into the litterbox. Grab hold of her front paws and gently guide her to scratching and digging motions in the litter box. Do this several times. She should pick up the idea from there.

When I trained a stray kitten we adopted, I sequestered the kitten in my bedroom with the clean litter box. I stayed up that one whole night just to wacth and observe the kitten. As soon as I saw that he was 'fixing' to pee (you'll know what they start sniffing and pawing at the floor), I carried him to the litter box and plonked him into it and guided his paws to digging and scratching motions. He peed in his box and has been doing so ever since.

Hello to you and purrs to your persian kitten!!!

By far, the most entertaining way to litterbox-train a kitten is to start using it yourself... and the kitten will eventually get the idea. Since most people aren't ready for this, you need to just keep scooping up your kitten and putting her in her litterbox ... hopefully she will get the idea.

As gross as it sounds, if she doesn't get the idea, borrow some kitty poop and clumped pee from a friend (a close friend who won't think you are weird for wanting this) and add them to your kitten's box ... your kitten will smell kitty poo and pee and (hopefully) get the idea!

Good luck ... one of the many joys of kitten parenthood.

That's what I did one the first day I got my 3 cats. Whereever you keep your litter box, lock her in that area until she pee or poo...do not let her get out of the area until she does and do not watch her doing it. Some cats gets nervous when someone is watching him/her. Start off with putting her inside the litter box and keep her in that area alone. It worked for my 3 cats, and hope it'll works your cat too!

If she poops, place it in her litter box and she should understand what to do from their. If not try to catch her and place her in the litter box after lightly poping her on her behind. If all else fails they have sprays at most large pet stores to help train them.

You should be able to just put her in the litter box and she should just go there when shes gotta go. If she doesn't I'd get her checked out
