Sometimes it comes off no problem but there are spots that just stay there. Has anyone found anything that works well on getting hair dye out of counters and off tile?

when I worked at a hair salon, we would use hair bleach to remove the color off tile or cement floor. The hair bleach works the same on the floor as it does on the hair. It removes the hair color. I would suggest to clean the color up as asap to prevent the stain initially. sallys beauty supply carries the bleach for about $3.00.

All counter tops and flooring are different. If it's ceramic tile, comet works very well and if its on the caulking, comet bleach pens are great...they get right where you need 'em! You can't go wrong with salt. It will bleach stains right out, it's cheap, good for the environment and a natural disinfectant to boot!

If the color is on carpet, rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide work well. Just be sure to apply the peroxide right on the spot with a Q-Tip and blot it until the stain is lifted. Once it's back to normal, douse the area with water and blot dry.

Bleach. Mix 1 part bleach to 3 parts water. Let sit for 20 minutes and wipe clean with a damp rag.

This used to happen to me all the time when I first started dying my hair.

I've tried quite a few things and have found that nail polish remover works the best.

Good luck.

White King or Domestos will get it off. Domestos is best because it's a thick fluid and if you pour some on the stain it will stay there working its magic.
