It sounds like you want to end whatever relationship you have with your wife,to respond with anger with your question! I don't understand,why do you lie to her then,if you don't want her to think you are working late every single night,then tell her the truth!
There is no way that i am going to sit here and feel sorry for you for cheating around on your wife,who is more than you deserve!She sit's home giving you benefit of the doubt and tries to put her trust into the man she fell in love with and married.You know most women,well me myself,wouldn't bye that lie of working late every night to begin with,so keep doing what you will,cause one day you are going to wake up to the lost of a good woman that you took for granted.Where another man will be grateful to have and she deserves to be ravished and cherished,cause she isn't getting it from you,that is clear to see.I really don't understand what you expected from any of us with such a question anyhow.Grow up! and be a man before it is to late for yourself with your woman!

If that's what you told your "wife" and if she put her trust in "your word", then I think yes.
What you should be wondering is if she really thinks your at work late "EVERY" night then you need to see if she's really home alone late "EVERY" night...

If you have been truthful in the past then yes. Then again, she may know that you are not truthful but like the fact that you are not home causing hell in her household but someone elses.

Not in the back of her mind. But most women want to believe the one they love the most and share there life with.But then there is a few of us who act like dummm *** like me.And so a shame it took so long to find out.

No, she may want to think that because she would want to believe that her husband loves her and wouldn't cheat on her.
She will eventually allow herself to move on and will kick your butt out the door.
