You take control of the money. If she is spending ur money away like crazy than u should open a account where only u can access it. If she makes money too than divide the bills in two & give her an amount. Once she gives you the amount to help out than you can have extra money to save so when you two retire. Than she can spend the rest of it on how she wants to because everyone does deserve to spoil themself once in a while. Just let her know her limit. Take her credit cards away & see if she can set a limit with her bank so she cannot over use her money.

I think your wife is house wife & do not earn money. You both sit at the begining of month & mutually agree on what amount you want to spend this month. Divide it in to sub heads as provosions , intertainment, cloths.etc. Then you both write expences what you both spent today & under what head. you both jointly take descision to stop expences in heads where budget is over. Further discuss while daily accounting how to reduce expences. Repeat this exercise for 2-3 months & you will see the difference. As your wife is party to mutual agreement so she will not spend more then mutually agreed.

A female chum on the area is a no longer the thank you to show your spouse a lesson. that's a cowards way out and you're basically belittling some undesirable female with the aid of pulling her into your messy marriage. discuss with you spouse - tell her the way you sense (in a advantageous way). or you may constantly with carry something from her. Couples counselling might probable be a sturdy thought the two way. That way she will learn with the aid of an independent outsider that what she is doing isn't very considerate or respectful to you.

It depends. It can be as simple as telling her not to spend so much or it could be a bigger problem where she may need counseling. You should be able to tell the difference.

Also, spending sometimes could be a tool for comforting oneself while going through a difficult time. However, it should not be to the point of destroying a family.

Why control?
Enjoy the fun!!
You also join her in spending. When the money runs out, she can't spend anything!

Show her the net loss in income. If its still not net loss, then explain to her why money should be saved; emergencies, college fund, retirement fund, etc. Show that you havnt spent neeeeeeeeeearly as much as her. when was your last big buy?

Solution? open seperate account for her shopping. LOwer the credit card spending limit.

Tell her to quit freaking spending money. How hard is that? Lay down the law and be a man damn. She cant stop spending if she doesnt know how you feel about it and if she doesnt listen then seperate yalls bank accounts (i am assuming yall have the a join acct), if yall dont have joint accts then who cares let her spend her money.

If she is beyond your control, cooldown. You delegate all the responsibilities of running the home to her. handover the monthly estimated expenditure to her at a time. You have to do all these things with care and love. i hope she may realise the responsibility and the importance of money.

Sit her down and make out a budget together. Stop with the "How do I Control Her " routine, try talking and working together.
