Well I know girls love to talk about themselves, but how would I go about starting a conversation with a girl that would allow them to talk more about themselves.
So far I've only been able to start conversations by telling this girl like things I've done that are pretty crazy over the weekends or like stuff that may have happened that's kinda funny.

Funny is a good way to start, since women seem to like humor. You can transition by asking her about what she has done lately that is funny.

lol awww. Well, it's not cool for you to have a nervous breakdown and start sweating like crazy when you are trying to talk to a girl. Just try to be a girl's friend first. I think being shy is cute, but don't be too shy cause that gets a bit annoying. The girl will feel like she might have to get you to do different things instead of you being outgoing and wanting to do them. She might feel like she would be doing all the work instead of it being 50/50. Everything will be fine. Good Luck =)

Okay, well thats ok to talk bout for awhile but then you should ask her what she did, if she likes any sports, does she have any hobbies, what classes she's taking who her teachers are and stuff like that. Sometimes girls do get carried away and talk way too much bout themselves but just tell her to slow down nicely and it doesn't hurt to act kind of interested. Good luck!

Instead of telling her what you did this weekend, ask her what she did this weekend. Once she starts talking, ask more questions based on what she is saying (this way she'll know you are listening to her). Make it a point to finish the conversation without saying anything at all about yourself.

this is usual stuff happening daily between men n women. BUT, you have to be practically experience with woman especially in conversation, JUST BE YOURSELF. Dun boast, talk happy. your Smile and smell (ur physical appearance) influence in all of your conversation with a woman.

try asking her a question about herself. like you could ask her what type of music she likes or if she likes sport. just ask her something about her. that will show that you are interested in her and the things she is into. and she will no doubt talk your ear off talking about herself.
