First, I would hope that my son wouldn't participate in war since Jesus said his followers would not be involved in politics, etc. (They'd instead be beating their swords into plow shares and their spears into pruning shears and not learning war anymore - Isaiah 2:4).
Second, if he DID come home from the war, I'd be very happy he was still alive. (I love my sons SO MUCH!!!)
Third, if he brought home his muslim girlfriend and announced his intentions of marrying her that would be his choice since he's an adult and I would never interfere in his romantic life. Further, technically he isn't a Christian if he isn't following Christ's footsteps by not participating in wars, so since he isn't a Christian he isn't obligated to marry another Christian. That said, as long as she is a good woman who loves him, I'd be happy for them...of course, I'd never stop praying that they'd someday become Christians and I'd certainly use every opportunity that presented itself to provide them both with information from the Bible.

I would say I am so very sure you desire my approval but first I must have a long and deep discussion with her unihibited by the presence of others. Then I would do my best to understand what is truly going on over there, and watch closely so I knew how to be in her good graces in the future.

When my daughter gets married, I'm going to be the one to marry her, and, it won't be to a Muslim. I would advise and remind her of how wrong it would be to do something like that. They can get married but, not by me. I would never approve or bless such a union.

Pray for them as it is already done, perhaps she will come to the light of the truth. There are many Christians here she may convert.

the bible says...."be ye not unequally yoked". if she converted to christianity i would agree to it but, if he was a christian he would know better than to do it anyway.
