I heard this asked in a radio show once but unfortunately I wasn't able to stick around to hear the answer. Could it be the Pope or a pilot or a red cross doctor? I don't know. Is it even possible?

It's not all the countries, but most all of them, and yes the Pope is the right answer. He is the leader of his own country and has associations with nations put in place prior to the 1600 that are still honored today. Pilots, while flying to other countries, have work visas through the carrier they work for, and many do not actually cross customs, but stay in the terminals. Red cross insists that you get a visa prior to entering a forign country, however they help you with the process.

If pope goes to some country, he must inform that country's officials that is willing to visit. Boz of his visit they have to make security arrangement. Those arrangements will be over viewed my the pope's security person. This can only processed my ambassy. So, this is also same as getting visa and all.

Pilot - yes they can travel for their official purpose. If they are going to drive fight to some country. Eventhough their records will check they frequency by the Airport authorities.

Red cross doctor - They can go to serve they injured or poor ppls. For that also they need permission. Before they go RED CROSS authority will check whether it will safe for they to serve there. From this we can know

NO ONE CAN TRAVEL WITHOUT VISA AND PROPER PERMISSION

They only thing can travel without any visa, passport and permission are BIRDS and ANIMALS

Your passport has to be stamped. There are countries who give visa's on arrival. If you are a head of state or other dignitaries, your passport will be stamped on your behalf.
