I use to own a salon and I have encountered this. I know this is grossing you out. It is crazy, but it does make you feel like you have got lice, doesn't it???!!!! This may seem extreme, but when a kid came in with lice We treated everything capes, combs, everything with lice treatment spray then washed everything that she or he came in contact with. Then, I would wash my hair in the lice treatment shampoo. I know this sounds extreme, but I had rather be safe than sorry.

you need to get a small comb, (not a big comb with big gaps) and you need to run the comb through your hair and look at the comb every time to see if there are any lice caught in the combs brissles, that's why you use a small comb with small gaps because the head lice would just go straight through the big comb and would be useless, so small comb, little gaps. To treat it, if you have them, you can go to any chemist and find head lice products there.

clean everything.

put what you can in the dryer on high heat.

seal everything else.

for the next 2 weeks do the following:
every night: look fot the nits and pull them out. these are the eggs.
starting with the first night and then every third night: grease your head with olive oil, put on a shower cap and sleep over night with the olive oil. it will smother the ones that live.

wash your hair in the morning.

you need to let every one know at this place.

stay away from the drug store kits - they are extremely toxic (just read the labels and you'll see what I am talking about.)

Take a very small toothed comb and run it through your hair, always start at the roots because they don't live in the longer parts. But if you just saw them yesterday it might be to early to notice them I think the growth period is 7 to 10 days but I might be wrong on that one.

go the to the drug store or walmarts, and ask for head lice treatment or search for it. you need a small really fine comb to comb them out with after shampooing wiht the head lice treatment.

I would just go and buy the lice shampoo even if I wasn't sure if I had them or not just to be on the safe side. You can buy RID at any drugstore.
