Lately I've been feeling really bad about my mom losing her father a couple weeks ago (she also lose her mother less a year ago). So it has been difficult to talk to her lately. So I would like to know what I can talk about with her?

I moved away from state she live in two months ago. My sis and half bro live with her and her husband. However I feel responsible as oldest child to help my mom out some.

Should I try talk to her about a girl I am sorta of seeing? Should I tell her about my boxing match even though she hate it? What should I try talk about with her? I would really like to talk about something that make my mom feel a bit better.

Just talking about your day well help her out a lot. She is going to grieve no matter what you say or do but just talking with her son well give her a small break. Even if she talks about her folks and crys a little she is sharing with you and that's a good thing.

hmm well dont tell her about the chick you are seeing...not just yet... coz she is obviously still hurt by what happened... you should try visiting her... just sit with her and watch tv or go see a movie then you can talk about that...if not...call her and just talk about how things are going. Like what she did today? like what shes doing tomorrow... talk about what she has been doing lately... ask her if ur bro n sis are being annoying anything really that starts a convo...but avoid the topic of her dad unitl you have made the calls a regular thing coz then you can hear what she truly has to say....dont talk bout the chick you are seeing not just yet aswell...the whole thing about relationships may hurt her...
good luck
god bless

Talking can be very difficult in a situation such as yours, the best thing to be said is "Mom, if you need any thing or you just want to talk, I'm just a phone call away" . I know there's not a lot you can really say at this point, but I'm sure it will make her rest a lot easier knowing that she can talk to you when ever she really needs to, sometimes, talking helps.

Good Luck, I hope this helps.
