right now it's over 47,000. I read it somewhere because the Army was thinking of increasing the numbers for this new fiscal year, so I'm not sure if that's only from the Army, or all branches. Either way, it's a lot.

I have no idea....but I know it is thousands of soldiers....and I thank God everyday for each and everyone of them. They are defending my freedom. Their families are struggling without them. They are the most unselfish ppl I know. I had a couple friends that have served in the Iraq war.
God Bless our troops and bring them home safely!
