The word “Muslim” means the person who obeys and serves only One and Alone God. In Bible, Muslim is called the servant of God. In Indian Scriptures, Muslim is called the Eishwar Dass, which further means an obedient of God by all means.
According to Quran (the Scripture, which is for everyone who lives in this world) Muslim means the most obedient of the Lord, the Alone God. It is written in Quran:
“O ye who believe! Come, all of you, into submission (unto God) and follow not the footsteps of the devil. Lo! He is an open enemy for you”.
(Quran 2:208, Translated by Marmaduke Pickthall)
“And who forsakes the religion of Abraham but a person who willfully deceives himself?___ Verily we chose him (Abraham) in the world and Lo! in the Hereafter he is among the righteous.
When his Lord said to him: Surrender! He said: I have surrendered to the Lord of the worlds.
The same did Abraham enjoin upon his sons and also Jacob, (saying): O my sons! Lo! Allah hath chosen for you the (true) religion! Therefore die not save as men who have surrendered unto Allah (the Muslims)”.
(Quran 2:130 to 132, translated by Marmaduke Pickthall)
“God has named you obedient slaves (Muslims) since old time and in this Scripture”.
(Quran 22:78)
It clearly means that whosoever ___ when ever and where ever____ submitted to the Lord, obeyed God and served God___ was a Muslim by faith.
Torah, Psalms, Gospel and Quran, all the Scriptures are saying that God is One, the Holy One. So whosoever does not believe in One God, he is definitely denying all the Scriptures. Such a person can not be considered as a believer at all.
No Prophet or a righteous-man has ever dared to say that he, himself, should be honoured like God or worshipped like God. Satan, of course, had certainly said to Jesus to worship him in place of God but Jesus had responded in the following way:-
“Go away Satan! The Scripture says: Worship the Lord you God and serve only the Lord.”
(Matthew 4:10)
In the same way, Jesus has responded in his prayer on the cross while uttering the following lines of the Verse No.23:-
“Praise the Lord, you servants of the Lord!
Honour the Lord, you descendants of Jacob!
Worship the Lord, you people of Israel!”
No doubt, it is a matter of simple common-sense that when God is One__ the Lord is One__ the saviour is one__ the Holy and Only One__ then, how his slaves or servants__ can be held as worthy of the honour & service__ which is meant for the Holy One alone. But alas! The people are honouring and serving the slaves and servants__ just like the Lord. Rather, they have chosen them as God & the Lord__ in place of the Holy One. And__ Christians are the pioneers of such ideas. They have straightaway declared Jesus as God & Lord and the Saviour. Rather, they hold Jesus as the sole sovereign of the Day of Judgement, instead of the Lord, the Almighty God, the Holy One.
It means that since Adam to Noah__ Noah to Abraham__ Abraham to David, David to Moses__ Moses to Jesus and Jesus to Muhammad (peace & blessings of God be upon all of them) all the Prophets were slaves or servants of the Lord. And, in their servant-n-master or slave-n-lord based relationship__ all of them had__ all the qualities of servants & slaves definitely. That is why that all of them stood as servants & slaves of the Lord__ throughout their lives__ and obeyed their Lord in the most positive terms.
In the lines:-
“Honour the Lord, you descendants of Jacob!
Worship the Lord, you people of Israel!”
Jesus is advising the descendants of Jacob and the people of Israel to honour and worship the Holy One. The same thing has been advised in Quran after Torah by the Almighty God to whole mankind. It means that God of Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon each of them) is One, the Holy One. Who alone, is to be honoured and worshipped ___ by the people of Jesus__ by the people__ of Muhammad__ and by the whole mankind.
It is very simple to know and judge that when our Creator & the Lord is none but One, the Holy One, then, we should naturally honour and worship none but One, the Holy One.
Jesus has advised to honour & worship the Holy One in commanding terms. Accordingly, the followers of Jesus should honour & worship none but One, the Holy One. Whereas the followers of Jesus (the Christians) are honouring & worshipping Jesus instead of the Holy One. Such a practice on their part is quiet contrary to the demands of Jesus.
The words of Jesus:-
Honour the LORD-----
Worship the LORD-----
Are therefore declaring the practice in question, undesirable rather false which must be given up at once. On the day of Resurrection, the words of Jesus “Honour the Lord”__ “Worship the Lord”__ will definitely pass a decree against this false practice. Then where will stand the so called followers of Jesus? Who are holding Jesus as God & Saviour instead of the Holy One. Who alone, is the God & Saviour of everyone__ since inception to date__and till the last Day or the Day of Resurrection__ rather even after that.
“Worship no god but me! Do not make for yourselves images of anything in heaven or on earth or in the water under the earth. Do not bow down to any idol or worship it because I am the Lord your God and I tolerate no rivals. I bring punishment on those who hate me and on their descendants, down to the third and fourth generations.”
(Exodus 20:3-5)
Beware please! The mankind at large___ is not a Jew, nor Hindu, nor Buddhist, nor Christian, nor Muhammadan or so on. Instead all nations and all races are children of Adam (PBUH)___ and the most dignified creature of the Creator__ and the Creator is the Holy One. Who has commanded Adam and his children___ to believe in the Lord’s Absolute Oneness__ and to act, exactly, in accordance with the Lord’s Commandments. Otherwise, on the Day of Judgement___ they will be among no community but the condemned-ones.

Yes, they were all muslims. They were all prophets from God and Mohammad (peace be upon him) was the last one to whom the last Holy Book the Qur'an was revealed. Initially the Christianity was a true religion and Jesus's teachings were true as well as the prophets' that came before him. Over the centuries their teachings were distorted and the Bible that we have now is very far from the original one which was written in the language that Jesus spoke. That was not even Greeke or Latin. Those translations distorted its authenticity and plus in the times of Constantine people made amendments to the Bible and cut off the parts that made it difficult for them to rule the country. So read the updated variant of God's religion, i.e. the Qur'an which was sent 14 cent. ago and since then not a single dot has been changed. Actually, both christians and muslims beleive the same God, only christians can't get it.

The oldest copies of the Bible, which modern day Christians still base their faith on, dates from the third and fourth century (it's in pieces). Jesus was not a Muslim then, and he wasn't Christian, but he began Christianity when he left his followers. He told them to do what he taught them and go tell everybody in the world about what he taught, too. He also told his lead follower that they had the power of Jesus with them (authoritatively). So, no Jesus wasn't Christian, but he began Christianity.
Just a little allegory: I am swimac and i say that my followers take craps to go to heaven, because that means you're good. Therefore, everyone who craps, or has ever crapped, is a Swimacian. Does that make sense? No.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines [taught by] demons... (1 Tim 4:1 NKJ)
Jesus and all the Prophets were not Muslims. Mohammad was the one who started Islam by becoming the first Muslim. Mohammad's family were into the the occult. Worshiping Jinns. He married a 6 year old little girl. He wrote the Koran by inspiration of Allah.

Muslim means one who submits to the will of God (Allah). Jesus and the prophets submitted so they were Muslim. They did not follow the religion of Islam because it hadn't been revealed yet. It's hard to say that Jesus was a Christian because a Christian is someone who follows Christ. Jesus is the leader, not a follower. Jesus and the prophets before him were Jews and righteous men. It is a stretch for Christians or Muslims to imply that they followed religions that did not exist at the time.

Jesus was NEVER A CHRISTIAN!
Jesus Christ was a Jewish rabbi (as opposed to, y'know, all of the OTHEr religions that have rabbi's, =p). There's no way he could've been a Christian, as belief in Christianity denotes one who is a follower of Christ.
And as far as I know, unless the guy was schizophrenic, he couldn'tve followed himself.
And besides. Muslims believe that everyone is born a Muslim - those that convert are just returning to what their true belief is. They also believe that all of the prophets from Adam forward are Muslims, and that they are messengers of Allah.
(Any Muslims around, if I've gotten some of this wrong, feel free to correct me, as I have no intntion of insulting you. This's just from what I recall. :) Peace. )

I don't know how to put this tactfully, so I'll just say it. Islam is a complete lie. Jesus Christ is the son of God who died on a cross, rose again and is the only way to heaven. Information about Him can be found in the bible. Stay away from Islam and from the Koran...it lies about the person of Jesus Christ and will lead you away from the truth.

The forgery always comes after the original not the other way around. Deceit and lies beside murder are part of the methods
sanctioned by the koran to be used by Muslims in their Jihad .
And they have done so since the beginning. if they truly believe in Christ and Moses why don't they study the Bible. Common sense reveals what truly they believe. see their actions and forget about their rhetoric.

Jesus was a Jew, the prophets before him followed the religion of that time until they started to spread the religion they were spreading. Muslims believe that prophets came before our own to spread the word of God, therefore we believe that other prophets did exist and that all monotheistic religions are divinely inspired.
