You must aim yourself truly and then maintain your aim amid distractions. It's easy to say that you know what is right, but temptation can cause confusion and very often you will be tempted to stay in your current situation just at the time when growth would be most rewarded.

In the light of day, you have the clarity to know what you want in this situation. You can imagine what life would be like if you accepted the temptation and if you denied yourself. In each visualization, imagine what you life would be like if you made each choice. How do you feel about it? Uplifted and secure or nervous and uncomfortable? Perhaps you can see past the initial gratification to see the boredom or waste of accepting the tempations or perhaps you can see past the initial disappointment to the pride and gratitude you will have when the new situation is unfolded - when the powers that be know that you are serious about moving on.

Don't act rashly or throw away all that you have gained to date, only to be comfortable in the old, predictable existence.

Peace!

We mostly give into temptation when we not Aware enough to know that we must be strong. That is ... we are at that given moment, not able to muster the presence of mind & the will to handle the temptation. A good method is to keep a good luck charm in the pocket which, as you go about the days work, you will keep feeling in your pocket & this will act as a reminder that you are to resist temptation. Also. Pray Hard & HE will help. HE always does.
Try it... it works.

By not depending on yourself, you alone cannot use your own 'will' power, one has to deny ones self and relinquish total control to the Lord, and He will have His way. If you are walking perfectly in tune with the Lord then resist certain temptations will be natural, and become a part of your character and nature

temptations deliver us from evil. so one might say temptations are evil. one uses temptation for evil then one understands evil is evil and temptation only last the time being tempted. life is a temptation but the choices we do make us us. dont be afriad of your temptations do what is tempted with a golden heart and good will follow is you follow yourself. What i trying to say is value your temptation and it will value you.

Avoid them as much as possible. After awhile the temptation goes away.

If a guy or woman is married and are in love they could no longer be tempted and in the event that they're they actually do no longer love the guy they married and could probable get out of the marriage, then they'd handle each and all of the enticements and not could concern approximately hurting everybody. no longer something occurs except you enable it take place and if do there is something incorrect with you.

Depends on what you are tempting for? If it's for another man or woman then you should think of what brought you and your partner together from the beginning of your relationship.

If it's food or drugs you should seek professional help in dealing with addictions. (ie I quit smoking but i used pure will power and if you can over come something for 21 days it sets a routine)

Turn away, walk away, run away--whatever it takes. Pray alot. Consider how God would feel if you give in. Remember that angels and demons are watching at all times. Who will you satisfy with your actions??

Deal with them. If you're a strong enough person, you shouldn't have any problem with not giving in - if you need a crutch like religion to tell you what you can and can't do, then I can't help you at all.

The best way is to use the technique of projecting yourself into the future, one day ahead.. See yourself having done the thing you are tempted by... Look back and see if you feel good about it.. If you do, then do it.....If you find yourself regretting it, don't do it..
OK/
