Come on. It's a urinary tract infection or a bladder infection, or more kidney stones. Check with a urologist, he is a specialist in that area rather than just your general doctor. Your urologist will give you all kinds of information. The blood in your urine is called hematuria. common when you have an infection.
you are 25... quit freaking out honey...

I am a physician. It is very likely that you have cystitis, or an infection of the ureters or the urethera. Bladder Cancer doesn't cause kidney stones but kidney stones do cause irritation of the bladder and discomfort while micturating. You mention microscopic blood in the urine, but how was that determined? A few white cells are normal, and even a few erythrocyctes are nothing to worry about. It would seem that your physician didn't do a very good examination or at least a referral to a urologist for further diagnosis....kidney stones tend to have a pain area from the back down to the inner thigh to the testes and the pain can be excruciating...but as the stone moves, the area of pain also shifts. Your physician should have advised you to begin an intake of acidic fluids...cranberry juice to prevent the formation of the stones....some stones are like grains of sand and cause discomfort, but larger stones cause pain, and in a few patients, the entire kidney needs removed....the stones are called calculi. Bladder cancer is virtually pain-free during the initial stages. My suggestion is to increase juices, take a mild pain-reliever and use a heating pad over the kidney area...if the condition hasn't ameliorated within a week, then go to a different doctor.

I think you need a new doctor! Obviously this one isn't giving you the information you need. I'd say it's most unlikely you have cancer, doesn't sound remotely like it.
It could be kidney stones, because the stones start in the kidneys, then travel down into the bladder and out - and they can and do cause pain at any point in their travels.
Another alternative, which I hope you don't have, but it's possible, is interstitial cystitis. See the link below. It's a condition that feels and looks just like a bladder infection, but there's no infection. Unfortunately it can be a chronic condition and they haven't found an effective cure yet.

My father had bladder cancer. Usually it's not until there is almost a hemorrage before they discover it. What your symptoms sound like is some type of infection, maybe kidney infection, bladder infection. You probably need more than an ultrasound, maybe a cystoscopy, not sure if I spelled that right, but they actually insert a tube and go up in and look inside the bladder to see if there is anything unusual, they can do it with you not put under anesthesia but it is uncomfortable. They should also so a cat scan of the kidney area, pelvis and abdomen too. It's possible the stones are causing pain, you can have small ones like sand too, gout can cause stones, have they tested for that? What about diabetes? They need to rule out other things causing problems too. I would go back to the dr ask him for the tests and get a referral to a urologist to evaluate them.

OK, you got diagnosed with kidney stones. Good, keep in mind that they can cause also infection. Also they have a tendency to move. Passing a stone. From the kidneys they will end up in the bladder and can cause more pain and possible infections. So, go see your doc and make sure there is no infection and you are "just passing a / some stone/s. FYI: bladder cancer normally does not hurt in the beginning. Yes, small amounts of blood are one sign, but not all. Good luck and see an urologist.

please don't be scared that is normal for kidney stones to do that. there are times i feel like Ive been kicked in the crotch and it hurts so bad i cant stand up. i had blood in my urine for over a year it was so red it looked like some one had poured tomato juice in the toilet. i have found if you drink a lot of green tea it eases the pain and stops the blood. Ive had a 3 cm kidney stone now for 3 years and i do know how you feel. when it passes in to the bladder you can feel it. and when it hurts when you have to pee that means its in the urethra working its way out. when you feel the pain moving that means the stone is also moving. i was scared i was gonna bleed to death but the doctor said that there was no chance of that and he was right, liptro treatments work the best but that in its self is a bit painful. but its worth it in the end. stay away from any calcium and Vitamin C that just adds to the stone making it bigger

Kidney stones are gonna take a while to pass sometimes. Thus, they will hurt. Some people are prone to having them througout their adult lives and that is just that. So you may pass one, and later on develop another. Talk to your doc about a PRN pain releiver you can take as needed when the pain is unbearable. You should monitor your stones and see how they are progressing, because until you pass them, or have them removed they along with their pain, will still be there.

You need to return to the doctor and find out if stones are present. I am a cancer RN and this sounds suspicious for renal stones. I have never heard of bladder cancer causing stones.

In relation to your question, i think it's scarier to leave unprepared; or without making my loved ones and I happy.
Sorry but I don't know what kind of sickness you have but personally I think it isn't cancer. Just keep on going to the doctor for assurance. Hope for the best!

Your best bet would be to call a doctor so that you can stop driving yourself crazy with worry, it sounds like kidney stones but a doc. can tell you for sure. Please don't wait any longer the longer you wait the worse it could be. Good Luck to you, I hope it all works out.
