I lost my mother at 16 and my father at 21 and I can testify that when ever one door shuts another one opens. The poem " Footprints in the sand" is a testimony in my own life. Would I change a thing? absolutely not!! Reason being the day I lost my mother was the day I met my best friend (we became very close through this tragedy) Through my best friend I met my husband and love of my life later having 3 beautiful children. If my mother didn't pass I know my life would have been so much different. Don't get me wrong I miss my mother dearly but I have peace that we will be together again and what a reunion it will be!!!

No, because I believe that everything that happens to me is God's will and every experience, whether it's pleasant or not, is a GOOD experience. The Bible states (Romans 8:28) that "all things work together for good to them that love God". This is one of my favourite scriptures - it took on powerful meaning for me when I went through a really tough time a couple of years ago. It reminds me that even though I might not like a situation in my life, it's going to have a positive outcome for me in the end.
My policy in life is "No Regrets". Everything happens for a reason, so there's no need to regret the mistakes I make. Of course I'm sorry for the things I do wrong, but I know that if I hadn't done it I would have missed out on an important lesson.
My mistakes and the hard times I've been through have made me who I am today and are shaping who I'll be in the future, so I wouldn't change a thing.

Yes i would. I know it sounds evil and ungodly. But having a time-machine to go back to our past to prevent ourselves from committing certain terrible mistakes in life just sounds too good to pass.

"In all my studies of history, I have learned that those who have studied history and those who have not studied history have this one thing in common -- they are doomed to repeat it anyways. I for one choose ignorance so that I may PRETEND to be making new mistakes."
I got an A in History of Civilization II for that one bit of insight (but only 'cause the professor and I had been doing lunch and discussing and he knew I knew my history). *chuckles* The rest of the students though... they couldn't quite grasp the concept.

If the Bible teaches us anything it is that God uses everything from our lives to mold us into His image.
"All things work together for the good for those who love the Lord."
"The steps of a Righteous man are ordered by God."

No, because the outcome would not change. Another event would take it's place. Fate
