There is a girl in a class that I like and got to know, but very little. I text-messaged her a few times in the past couple of weeks and she responded friendly and nicely. Today we have been texting each other almost for half of the day and I had a feeling it was time to stop but I went on and all of a sudden she quit replying. What does that mean? Should I have just stopped when I knew it was time to stop? I asked her if she has a job and she said no, and then I asked her what does she normally do during her free time from school and she did not respond after that. Was that question too personal for the length of time that I knew her? I don't understand. Or maybe I should text her less next time? Where did I go wrong????

Oh yeah, it was during my school hours and she already left school. I was texting her during my classes.

From xperience, don't text 2 much..u don't want 2 grow tired of the person 2 quickly..n talking every second u get can make u grow tired very quickly..i'm talking 2 some1 now, n from learning my lesson from the last person i talked 2..we keep it light..try n space it out..text her once a week or somethin, n only about 4 times..n u don't even have 2 say dat ur about 2 go..it should b enuff 2 know that the conversation was over..but texting a lot does lead things 2 getting pretty "tiresome." N she probably was tired of responding..just chill..it's hard at first, but after about a day or 2 of not texting..u'll get used 2 it....

Maybe something went wrong with her phone.. unless she got tired of texting or is/was busy, Sumtimes i dont feel like texting cuz theres too much to say and its a lot , Mabe try to ask her out on a date and talk to her or ask to hang out sometime, unless you feel its too early.. if she has a crush on you then she might consider it and hanging out you will get to ask eachother as many questions as you want without hassle and you can explain yourself more, You guys might have fun.. Newayz Good Luck!!

Maybe it was just to much to put into a text message. Personally texting is sooooooo annoying to me. It's not like having a keyboard to type out what you want to say. Maybe her fingers were about to fall off. Try calling.

See, you can over do anything. To much text messaging! Girls like attention but just don't overload her with it. Especially while in class. Just pick your spots and don't get to personal right away. keep it fun.

you send too many messages. my question is, if you had her number, why didn't you call instead of text message?
