i know of 2 friends who really like each other, but they dont go out because of their differences.

Absolutely it's a good idea! That age is for experimenting and seeing what the world and what people have to offer. If they feel a connection they should absolutely explore it. It might lead to nothing, it might lead to everything - who knows, but you HAVE to try, right? If nothing else, they both get a glimpse into a world they maybe don't know much about, they get to try on a new lifestyle, they maybe can see past the facade into something personally important for each of them. Never mind the tragedy of What If at that age! Go for it!

My question to answer your question is this; WHO THE HELL CARES WHAT THEY'RE LABELLED? Seriously, if they like each other, then they should just go out...I don't see what the problem is. If anyone has a problem with the relationship being about two people who listen to different music hooking up, then they're not worth listening to.
Relationships are about emotions that tie two people together, not about the music they listen to.

obviously these kids are still in High School, they're still separating separating themselves and labeling themselves, they couldn't put aside their differences, why??!! because they afraid that people around them gonna talk trash. :) They don't understand what love is, first of all. They set the priority of what other thinks first, before the relationship

Well emo is not a healthy lifestyle so she probably shouldn't be dating at all until she gets over her issues.
