The LDS Church rejects the use of the cross as a religious symbol yet adopts those used by the Masons and Satanists prominently displaying them on their temple in Utah and other buildings.
LDS President Joseph Fielding had no problem insulting millions of Christians when he said, "To them the cross does not represent an emblem of torture but evidently carried the impression of sacrifice and suffering endured by the Son of God. However, to bow down before a cross or to look upon it as an emblem to be revered because of the fact that our Savior died upon a cross is repugnant to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint (Answers to Gospel Questions 4:16).
In light of such a comment, is it not hypocritical for Mormons to complain about Christians who find pentagrams on "sacred" buildings "repugnant"?

From a purely logical point of view one would assume that any symbol that may be called by names like The Goblin Cross, the Pentalpha, the Witch Foot and the Devils Star would have nothing to do with Christ and His church. The Mormons (who ironically call themselves “The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints) however seem to have no problem in harmonizing the two most opposing forces in the Universe and incorporating Satan’s own symbolism into their “Church”.

A brass serpent was made by Moses at God’s command to be a sacramental means of healing for the Israelites in the wilderness (Num. 21: 9). It seems to have been carefully preserved, and became an object of superstitious worship (2 Kgs. 18: 4); it was accordingly destroyed by Hezekiah, who called it Nehushtan. When You worship the cross and not the savior, you make it an object of superstitious worship.
Paul described the heavens as having the brightness of the sun, the moon or the stars. Hence artwork depicting them. They are not remotely worshiped.

The pentagram has more than one meaning and is not a symbol of evil but good(the upright one)
starting at the top and going clockwise.here are three meanings
Sex,Self, Passion. pride.power.
Love Wisdom.Knowledge.Law,Power
Birth, Initiation.Consummation, Repose, Death
Each of these points of the pentagram have their own meaning.
The cross has come in several shapes. the Christian one (more like a sword in shape)driven into the Earth. the Equal armed one .Which denotes both the four directions and the four quarters. Celtic Christians use this one. and the St. Andrews one ( an X) which has been used for torture.
The Masons are not evil either. they are the builders that use the golden rule to build edifices.
The SATANISTS do use and inverted pentagram standing on one point easily knocked over. And the inverted cross.
The Knights Templar also used an inverted pentacle on their Shields with the image of Bohapmotet as part of the points.
the pentacle is also the symbol of human kind when you plant your feet apart and raise your arms out to shoulder height you form a pentacle.
Back to your question now. yes it would be hypocritical for them to do that.
Have you examined your own churches designs for any hidden Pagan or or other symbols . their are lot of the on churches in Europe. where Pagans built the Church for the Christians.

ummmm NEWS FLASH here...
the Pentagram or penticle was a religious symbol long before Aberham or Jesus were even thought of.
Satan is a Christian Demon.
the symbol of the pentagram has deep spiritual meaning for many people around the world. you only see it as evil because you believe the lies that your church fills your head with.
notice i said church not religion. because i see nothing wrong with the christian religion as a whole. but the church has brought more suffering and harm to this world than any so called force of evil ever has.
you have never seen armies of Satanists and Pagans marching the land to force their beliefs on other people now have you.
most of you do not even KNOW what a Satanist is.

I think that the symbol was sacred before people started calling it the "goblin cross" I think Mormon think more in an eternal perspective than over the last 100 years.

Well no one was ever killed by being nailed to a pentagram in public.
Futher more the pentagram is a 5 pointed star inside a circle. the 5 points are the 5 elements, air water earth and fire the 5 and the top most point is the human spirit. the circle is the wholeness that conbines them all together.
Again the cross was used to punish people.

Being Satanic is being so obessed with something as to spend all your time spreading hatred and lies. Have you ever asked or answered a question that wasn't about Mormons?
You can leave the church but you can't leave the church alone.

To start... the pentagram, being a pagan symbol in its origin, and the cross, ALSO a pagan symbol in its origin, are of equal religious value to the Star of David or the element circle used by the Native Americans.
As both of the symbols being used in your post have pagan origins, I don't necessarily see how either side can 'worship' them, as they've basically stolen their belief systems from the ones that came before.
Prego. :)

Stars have been symbols for a lot longer than crosses, one only has to look to hieroglyphics to see that. The mormons are a class unto themselves, and by making the statements that they have, they have put themselves into the limelight.

If some one shot some one you love and respect would you wear a gun around your neck on a chain to "remember them" by???? That is why we do not use a cross, we revere Jesus and do not focus on His death, we focus on his resurrection, got a symbol for his resurrection????
And we believe that we were all spirit children of God our Heavenly Father, so yeah, that makes Jesus and Lucifer brothers, however Jesus has a perfected body, and Lucifer never will, because he rebelled against his Father and was cast out.
