Are you serious; you are falling for the same staff terrorists use for their action; go and read what was before and after that; then ask someone who knows about the context of the statement; if muslims at that time were in the middle of a battle, what else would you say apart from defending yourself vigorously ...etc.
Please wake up and stop this staff; it is plain stupid to fall into that.

Muhammad said,

"Fight and slay the pagans( Christians, Jews, non-Muslims) wherever you find them, and sieze them, beleagur them, and lie in wait for them in every strategem( of war)."- Surah 9:5, the Qur'an

the very quote of Muhammad....

"Who relinquishes his faith, kill him. I have been ordered by Allah to fight with people till they testify there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger."- Muhammad

It is sad, because many claim that Christianity is worse than Islamic terrorism...

Christ said,

Not only to love family and friends, but...

"Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you and persecute you."- Matthew 5:44

Anyone that calims to follow Christ must walk as Jesus did.

And so I try to love those that hate me... becasue I bear Christ name.

God bless you and yours...

EDIT: Soul Rebel,

like I said, "anyone that claims to follow Christ must walk as Jesus did", otherwise he is not a true follower of Christ, if he calls himself a Christian, he does so falsly. Because he doesn't follow what Christ taught.

And just for your information, I am Not perfect, if I was I wouldn't need Jesus or His teachings. I am a sinner saved by God's grace. The only thing that separates me from you is that I accepted God's mercy, His Son, and His forgiveness.

I am not Jesus, that is for sure, but I try my best to love others and do what is right. I try not to sin, but I am still a sinner. I follow Christ as best I can.

Why then do you call me a hypocrite? I am not holyer than you. I am a Christian, by the way just forgiven.

And likewise I forgive you for the insult.

God bless you and yours,

In Christ love, a Christian.

Educate yourself:

Here are the teachings of Muhammad:

"He who believes in God and the Last Day should Honor his guest, should not harm his neighbor, should speak good or keep quiet." (Bukhari, Muslim)

"Whoever hurts a Non-Muslim citizen of a Muslim state hurts me, and he who hurts me annoys God." (Bukhari)

"Anyone who kills a Non-Muslim who had become our ally will not smell the fragrance of Paradise." (Bukhari)
