The Jesus that Muslims venerate is not the Jesus of the Bible.
Here's why:
In Islam, the Qur'an states rather clearly, "Proclaim: Allah is One. Allah is Eternal. He neither begets nor was begotten." (Surah 112:1-4)
In Christianity, we believe that Jesus was begotten. (John 1:14) Jesus clearly states that He is God: "Truly, truly I tell you, before there was an Abraham, I am!" (John 8:58) Naturally, there are many other examples I could use, but it wouldn't really help.
Now, we have a conundrum. Either Islam is right, and Jesus is not God, nor begotten; or Christianity is right, and Jesus is God, and is begotten. We can't have it both ways. Islam will never hold to a belief that Jesus is God. And Christians will not accept that Jesus is not God, and is not begotten. Therefore, they do not worship the same God.
I, however, will continue to worship the one true God. The God of the Bible, and not of the Qur'an.

To answer the question: Yes i did know this.
To Randi Megan: Actually The Jews do NOT believe in all prophets. They do not velieve in Jesus and they do not believe in Muhammad.
To Kids and Cats: So what you're telling me is that the Catholics are going to hell? even though they accepted Jesus as they're savior? really? So then that means accepting Jesus as God isnt going to get you to Heaven, right? The Trinity places 2 others equal as equal to Jesus in the Catholic faith.

The message that Jesus preached was love and forgiveness. The message that Muhammad preached was ridding the world of fitnah and taghut. Christians and Muslims both worship the God of Abraham but what Islam teaches is vastly different from what Jesus taught in the Bible.

Yes, I knew that. The problem for me is just that Muhammed contradicts Jesus a lot.

It is, in Christianity, blasphemy to place anyone equal to or above Jesus Christ. There is no other equal to Him.
