Well let's see...that old song lyric.

"Once, Twice, Three Times A Lady".

Nope, not working in this instance. How about..."After I kissed her the second time she slapped me". That works.

No !
Twice means " two times" and not "second time." Both have different meanigs.
She asked me to drop her home twice. The second time I agreed.

Remember the following irregular sequence in English:
Once, Twice, Three times , four times and so on.

No. Twice means one thing happened two times.

The second time means the first time something different happened.

"Twice" means "two times", such as, "I have read that book twice," or "I have traveled by plane twice."

"The second time" means, something happened once, and now it has happened again, so it's "the second time" it has happened. "My first trip to Europe was to England, but the second time I went to Europe, I went to Austria."

In telling some things, it is possible that you might tell the same fact by using either phrase which we have mentioned above. Imagine that you are telling a friend that you have just returned from a trip to New York. You yourself know that you went last year to New York, and you went a week ago. When your friend asks, "Have you been to New York before last week?", you could tell the same idea either by saying, "Yes, now I have been there twice," or by saying, "Yes, this is the second time I have been there."

Twice is not just the second time. It's both the first AND second time.

the second time would describe some thing that has happened again

"I sneezed, then I sneezed for the second time."

twice would describe something that has happened two times

"I sneezed twice."

slight difference
