This past year I have noticed that I bruise very easily and sometimes the slightest pressure hurts. Just pressing my thumb into my thigh or arm feels painful. The other day I hit a table; not really hard at all, but I was down on the ground as if I hit it full force, running at a fast sprint. Usually this type of pressure/hit would never cause me to bruise or even hurt. Now I have this huge bruise. I am in my late 20's! Should I be bruising this easily?

you might be diabetic. I would see a doctor and have blood work done. Do you also have trouble sleeping?

You should visit your local doctor for a check up and some lab work. Easy bruising can be caused by anemia or by leukemia. It warrants checking out. I have cancer and just had a bone marrow transplant. I had a family history of cancer and so I requested a basic blood test called a CBC with a manual diff---that showed an abnormal platelet count. Platelets are what makes your blood clot. They run some more test on my lab and noted numerous abnormal cells. I am happy to say....I am getting better everyday. Early detection is the key for survival.

You may be deficient in vitamin c. Take 500 mg of vitamin c with bioflavinoids and 100 mg of grapeseed extract daily for a month. If you are still bruising after that, go see a doctor. You have a medical problem and vitamins are probably not going to help.

You're skin is thin. I'm can imagine that you are fair skinned. I am the same way, sometimes I don't even know how the heck I got a bruise. Just thin skin, no worries. Unless they actually really hurt, see a doc.

You are probably lacking some type of vitamin. Go see your doctor to get evaluated. Also, if you have very thin skin, then you are prone to getting bruised easily.
