For reliability, it is Lexus but for durability I would have to say that it is a Toyota or a Honda as I have seen some with 300,000 miles on them still driving like they only had 300.

In the USA, you can't beat RWD products from Ford or GM.
If reliability is a concern, never buy a vehicle with less than the most powerful drivetrain offered in it: the brakes and suspension and all the other doodads are upgraded when you select the top package.
The exception, of course, is in cars that don't offer a significant range of power choices.
If you include the "beercan on wheels" models designed to eke out every last bit of fuel economy, Honda has a good reputation; however (with a few notable exceptions), Chevrolet and Ford have made available products that may be superior to those of Honda.
Toyota, imho, is junk.
In the USA, domestic makes generally offer better overall utility, and are better able to cope with the rigors of multi-environment operation.
Dirt roads and gravel roads and sandy soil place stresses on drivelines that are well-known to US automakers, who have from the beginning had to meet the needs of rural dwellers.
Foreign makes are generally suited only to paved surfaces (some Subarus are exceptions to this rule).
Whether the Dodge/Mercedes platforms will hold up well has yet to be seen.
I've got a Chevy Astro minivan with over 530,000 miles on it and only routine maintenance, and it still gets 22-25 mpg and runs like a brand new vehicle.
It's averaged over 2000 pounds onboard for each of the miles on it (used in a freight business to transport loads up to 4,700 pounds onboard, and nearly that heavy in a 6x12 enclosed trailer.

How many people out there are still driving their 1993 Civics with 175,000 miles and still easily maintained.
