During my conversion classes, when I say this line, I get a lot of snickering from teenagers.

I can't help the fact that I love Jesus Christ so much. His image is so pure and so innocently sensual.

His cruxification is so joyous and happy. I could imagine it would have been very fun living in his times.

This is very difficult. I don't feel it is right or normal to speak of Jesus as you do. WHY would you think "gay"? And "innocently sensual"? WHY would his crucifixion be "joyous and happy"?
Then you imagine living in his times would have been "fun"?

WHY would you say Jesus is the "only man in your life"? Don't you have a father? Brother? Uncle? Friend?

There is nothing wrong or abnormal about being gay. But you are hinting toward Jesus and that is wrong.

What do you have to say about it?

NO! it is not gay to say that!! That is awesome that you feel that way. Jesus is the way, the truth and the light.
I agree that it would have been great living in His time. I can't wait to meet Him and God, I hope I am good enough to meet them. I too love Them so very much, and the cruxification was a wonderful way of God showing how much He loved us and how much He and Jesus was willing to give for us.

First of all, I want to congratulate you for your conversion. Welcome to the family of God.

It's not wrong to say that you love Jesus very much and surely it does not mean you're gay. Your love to Jesus is not in physical term or in what people say about human love, although the feelings will be the same - you long to talk to Him, want to make Him happy, constantly need to know whether you have please Him or not, want Him to walk beside you through your day....
But,of course people will be more receptive if you say "I love my Saviour, Jesus Christ very much". They won't put so much snicker if you say that.
But remember, pleasing God is much more important than pleasing people. I believe God knows your true intention and feelings and He's pleased at what He sees.
Continue to love Him because He loves you first and died for you.

I'm praying for your journey of faith.

Not all affection is romantic love.

Fellowship can bring men together. It's not meant to be twisted into "gayness".

I might suggest you take people and their spirituality a little more seriously. You might find fellowship and mutual respect a little more rewarding than looking for attention on Yahoo.

Dude, have you considered that maybe you ARE gay? A straight guy would have no problem phrasing what you are trying to say in non-guy-on-guy language.

"Jesus is who is most important to me"
"Jesus was one happenin dude!"
"I am a follower of Jesus, because, I mean, he walked on water and stuff"

...any of these would work, or some other variation.

Dude you are gay with extreme bondage and discipline fixations--that's why looking at a nearly nude guy nailed to a cross makes you ghizz--coming out to yourself is the first step
