It takes a while for rabies to develop, so if she was infected before she got the shot she could still come down with it. However, now you've gotten her the shot (good for you, by the way!) she can't _catch_ rabies for as long as the shot lasts.
BTW you can't get rabies from a cat's scratch -- the virus is carried in the saliva.
Since the only risk is from her getting infected a while before you took her in, in the (very slim) chance that she was infected and it just hasn't shown up yet, she'll develop obvious symptoms before you are in any danger. But get to a doctor RIGHT AWAY if such symptoms do show up.

No. Don't worry, she has the rabies shot , this will last for an entire year. What a nice thing you did. It is a shame how people just throw their animals away, you know they have feelings too. They get depressed, happy, unhappy, the miss you when you are gone from the house, some people don't understand that. If she is an older cat and like to be held hold her, but cats are finicky, they do want they want to do. Train her on a litter box, keep her clean. Even though cats clean themselves, when I had a cat she liked to be bathes. If you are keeping her inside the house, make sure she doesn't get out. I love animals, so thank you for taking care of the one you got. A very good deed, indeed.

If the vet has checked her out, and found her to be clean of viruses, then I wouldnt worry overly much about rabies. There is always the chance of infection from a bite, whether the animal has rabies or not. If the bite area is red, swollen, feverish, and painful to the touch, please check with a doctor, or emergency room. If there is a deep puncture wound from the bite that seems to be real red around the bite, and its spreading, then you need a broad spectrum antibiotic for at least 6 days. Take the entire prescription, as per instructions, in other wards, finish the pills, not just taking them till you feel better.

The shot takes up to 3 weeks to start working then they are good for 1 year.If the cat stays inside you don't have to worry that much about it unless it goes out side.

Yeah! even though the vet shot her it will expire after 3 months. You should get to know it better before knowing what it hates.
