Used a highlighting cap, and now hair is pokadotted, EEKK! Used a based color of light brown , and highlighted immediatley after. how can we fix this or hide it?

Dye it back to it's natural color

If it's one of those colors that wash out after a few rinses, wash it repeatedly until it comes out. You'll probably have to dry it between times, I'm not sure though. If it's not, then you will either have to dye it again a solid color or go to a salon, they can fix it. Try washing a few times even if it's permanent though, sometimes this helps. Good luck.

You had run thru in the cap. You can try washing your hair with dish washing liquid to try and tone it down and if that doesn't work then you will need to recolor. It will take at least 3 days for your hair to show the true color

Damn! I suggest you go straight to a professional hair stylist. They will be able to fix it properly - if you try and do it yourself you will probably just waste time and money and possibly botch it even more. My commiserations, good luck though! : )
